Review Pizza Delicious - New Orleans

Benjamin Leff
I haven't visited since Pizza Delicious became a brick and mortar location here a decade or so ago. I used to go when it was just a pop up in a house/community kitchen. The pizza is better than I remembered, true New York style. For those of you who cannot exercise patience, I suggest you make an exception and wait... it took the full 30 minutes they told me it would to make the pizza because they tossed the dough by hand and it's a massive pie. I'm extremely impressed with the food, expect a lot of grease (a common ingredient for all good New Orleans food)!

Delicious NY style pizza in New Orleans. Thin crust with fresh toppings. Ranked 39th of the top 50 pizza places in the USA, certainly worth the trip to try a slice or two

we sat out on the patio, and it was such a cute and cozy vibe. it’s rly randomly within a neighborhood ahah, and it’s so worth it! we got the margherita pizza and their seasonal cucumber orzo salad, both were delicious. the pizza is super thin crust, very flavorful. i’ve had pizza delicious takeout before (which was also delicious) and ofc dine in was even better. loved everything

We were told this place had great food with a great crew & that the owners give back to their community, so we gave them a try. Absolutely glad we did. Everything was delicious. The spaghetti & meatballs were phenomenal! I'm a pretty darn good meatballs maker & I was impressed! The pasta was perfect & the sauce yummy. We enjoyed pizza as well. We definitely visit again.

Very good pizza and salad... Enjoyed the atmosphere here. This place is fast paced, at times, so have your order ready when ya step up! ;) I was glad to see that there is ware available for your dinning needs. Very neat abstract art. 80's rock was jamming Pet friendly. To go order took awhile longer than expected... Did not seem busy :( I did learn that I should of checked in on arrival. I will be back cause it's yummy!

NYC style pizza with the thin, crispy crust right here in nola. This place has built a great reputation and strong following and all of it is well deserved. Like the name states, the pizza is delicious. It’s consistent. Standard pizza toppings, vegetarian options, vegan options. Pizza by the slice or the entire pie. Indoor and outdoor seating. Very close to crescent park, take out for pizza picnic.

This is a really nice pizza spot, they have more on the menu...but so far I've only tried the cheese and pepperoni by the slice. Both were very tasty, but not as warm as I'd hoped for...I like my cheese to be kind of melty when I bite in. It's a nice casual place to eat, and pet friendly as most places in this area. The only thing that bothered me was the hard seats, if you have back problems like me...bring a cushion or two. And with most things all in this area, be aware of your surroundings...especially at night. Be safe all.

It was a total blast. I had the White Pie with the garlic knot as side and it was my best pizza experience in my life. I ate pizza in Roma, Italy, Berlin, Portugal and many more. But this little Restaurant with cool and nice people around made it to my personal #1. will never forget.

Pizza was outstanding! The team was running a little behind on a busy Friday night and the front of house manager Betsy sought us out, explained the situation and offered a very nice and above and beyond make good. You and the team at Pizza Delicious are awesome!!

Hands down best option for any meal. Are you in a rush and starving, go grab a slice. Meeting some friends and need a great meal that won’t break the bank, pizza d is your spot. Trying to impress your wife on your fifth anniversary, look no further. This place has fixed a million situations in the past ten or so years I’ve been frequenting it. If you can figure out a way not to order pizza here, which is hard when you see everyone else eating it, get a pasta dish they’re always excellent and in my opinion under valued. It’s an institution for a reason.

Passable. No idea what the hype is for and it's laughable that people claim this to be the best pizza in New Orleans. Maybe it's the best pizza in Bywater because it's the only pizza place. It was decent enough I suppose but no better than mall pizza. Now I didn't eat the vegan and organic BS, just a slice of typical pepperoni. I've had NYC pizza and this is not it. A better name for it would be Pizza It's Okay. Very disappointing.

This place is bomb! Best pizza in New Orleans. Thin crust and full of flavor. The garlic knots are amazing and the Caesar salad had a hint of lemon.... the best salad ever! And its a cute atmosphere to boot.

I try to visit weekly. Love this place, the food, the vibe, and even the music. Excellent crispy crusted pizza, super tasty Caesar salad, and today I tried a wonderful shrimp and corn risotto. I finished my meal twenty minutes ago but, I am still here listening to Amadou & Miriam from Mali, Africa. Perfect!

Grabbed 4 knives and forks and they were all still dirty with leftover food on them. Definitely not the best pizza in the area and the pepperoni and spinach rolls weren't good either. Would not recommend and don't understand the hype at all!

Excellent pizza! We just came back from a Girls Trip to Nola between April 4-8, 2018. We ate here on Saturday, April 7, 2018. They have a wide selection of food to choose from i.e. pizza, pasta, salads, etc and then non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages to choose! The decor makes you feel like your in Italy. Very cool atmosphere. One of the best dinners we had during our stay and was reasonably priced. Thanks Ya'll for your hospitality and fabulous food it definitely lives up to it's name as it was WICKED DELICIOUS and made us Boston Girls feel right at home! Highly recommend this place! It's a must if your in New Orleans!

Huge fan of the pizza, which is what I usually have (cheese mostly). Garlic knots top notch too and the marinara sauce kicks... you know what. My wife loves the salads, the pepperoni rolls, not so much. I never try the cookies but they look good. Not every place is for everyone, so I respect those who aren't fans, but the service is always friendly and the pizza huge and top notch if you like that softer, foldable New York stuff, which I do. It's certainly worth a try, at worst you'll be satisfied, at most you'll love it. I doubt you'll be unhappy.

NEW York in NEW Orleans, Saturday June 30 2018 - - Marinated squash and zucchini - (plum tomato, gremolata breadcrumbs, add hot Coppa “sliced cured pork shoulder”). - The chewy bottom is one of the main things that gives it the NY feature. Acts like a barrier for the juices and becomes an edible plate! Not for everyone but plenty of chains on every corner for you. Check this place out (not in tourist area, in Bywater neighborhood).

Best pizza in New Orleans!! The crust was incredible and the offered vegan and locally grown veggies. My new favorite place and I was born in Jersey and I feel like this pizza is better! Thank you

I moved to New Orleans from Jersey City, New Jersey, almost a year ago with my wife. Although I like some of the other pizzerias in New Orleans, I was missing that pizza taste from back home. I was told over and over again from friends who had moved to New Orleans from NJ and NYC that Pizza D was legit. We finally decided to drive there and give it a go. The garlic knots and pepperoni pizza are the closest to thing to what I know back home. My only complaint is that they don't deliver to Mid City. Hey, not everything can be perfect, but it's definitely worth the drive!

We eat a pizza delicious all the time. I don't know why, but for some reason I think today their pizza was absolutely the best I have ever had. The crust was too perfection. I got playing cheese and I think from now on I may just stick to playing cheese I can't say enough how much I loved it.

Awsome pizza. Wife and kids ate here while I was checking out Euclid Records next door. Pizza was excellent (we had the Margarita). With all the great food to choose from while in New Orleans this place is definitely worth checking out.

Outstanding giant pies draped in cheese and toppings. Thin crust with just the right amount of chew. The house salad was perfect for sharing. Unseasonably chilly temps outside packed the dining room and the atmosphere was lively and warm.

Cool place w/ good pizza. Everytime I’ve been there its been busy & the dining area is pretty loud so don’t expect quaint dinner conversation.

I love how the salad 🥗,pizza is soo good huge to share with your family and friends, very recommendable but the straw is bit weird. But if that is eco friendly type of straw it’s ok.🥗🍕

My only complaint is that they don't deliver to my house. Better nyc style pizza than most places, including many in NYC itself. The only pizza in New Orleans worth eating. The salads and pasta are also reliably great.
