We had the tuna crudo, squid ink spaghetti, cornmeal brioche, spicy San Marzano pizza and the pork saltimbocca. They were all good, but our favorite was the tuna crudo and pork, we could have done without the brioche just because it was too much food for us. Cocktails were also nice. The service was great.

It's not a typical restaurant you'd find in New Orleans. The food was excellent, with generous serving sizes. I ordered the Wagyu flat iron steak and the roasted mushroom pizza. The flat iron steak was decadent, and the pizza had a unique flavor - I'll definitely try it again! Be sure to make a reservation before coming because it gets busy quickly. The second floor is a good dining spot; the noise is lesser, allowing for better conversation. The service was okay; it took a while before they served the meal.

Paladar had been on our radar for quite some time, but for some reason we had never made it there. Which is something that's unfortunate, because I would have loved to have this restaurant in my love earlier. The space is beautiful, with leather booths and pretty tables surrounding the kitchen and bar. The drinks are great and the food is even better. We tried some of their pastas and pizzas, all equally amazing, together with very tasty desserts and appetizers. All this served by very friendly and aware staff. And on top of this, the food is very affordable! We had a great evening, with great atmosphere and Paladar will likely be one of our regular restaurants.

10/10. Hostess was accommodating and squeezed us in as a walk in as long as we left on time for the next reservation and our server had great recommendations. Ordered the tuna crudo, pork belly, challah bread (butter is delicious), arancini (huge), and the tortellini. Really good, light Grenache as well. So reasonably priced. Would happily eat this exact order every day for the rest of my life.

The food was great, especially the wood fired pizza! The interior was nice and we could hear each other even when they got a little busy. The server made us feel like he had better things to do than attend us and we had to flag him down any time we wanted anything. Then when he brought it, his attitude was like it was interrupting his evening. It was almost comical and everyone in our party commented on it. I'd go back for the pizza and make sure I had a different server.
