Cake Cafe - New Orleans - Photo album

Wonderful food and nice staff. Some pretty unique options and good variety of salads and vegetables available. As well as some good comfort food like shrimp and grits and biscuits and gravy. In a very cool neighborhood, highly recommend.
Love this place. There aren't too many tables but the food is amazing. We had the tofu scramble and the French toast. I highly recommend getting the fried potato. Coffee and silverware are self serve but they do bring the food out. Great food and service!
I LOVE THIS PLACE! Stayed in NewOrleans for few days a friend of mine recommended me this spot and I just love it. Great food, friendly staff, it was a delicious experience, they put a lot of food. Costa Rican breakfast was delicious, but in general everything we tried was great
Without a doubt my favorite breakfast spot of our entire trip. The staff is awesome the food is perfect and of course they're known for their cupcakes which were amazing. What a friendly place to dine in. We will definitely be back there every trip we make to New Orleans.
Great spot for cakes and treats. I was visiting New Orleans and a friend of mine in the Bywater neighborhood highly recommended the Cake Cafe to get a King Cake from there. I also picked up an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich with tomatoes and it was fresh and delicious. I also got a cappuccino and
We got the roasted vegetable omelet and crab sandwich.... AMAZING FOOD!! With wonderful service, I also got the apple and goats cheese king cake to go, probably the best king cake I have ever had. Breakfast was so delicious, everything was fresh and not overly indulgent, deserves more than 5 stars.
Great breakfast, great service and nice folks. A little quirky, you feel like a local. Away from the crowds but still popular. Fried Potato Salad, how do you not order that? Cupcake with breakfast? Sur, its only $1 more.
We were on our road trip from Virginia to Texas and planned to take a 3 hour stop at New Orleans. I was craving for some sweet and savory and found this place in google. The place is warm and cozy and at the end if Quiet corner of Chartres street. They have a nice outdoor seating. We tried French to
The place was crowded @ 11am, however the line went fast. Hostess took our name, within 10mon we ordered at counter and s he made up a table. The crab omelet was delicious however it was a lil dry, it needs some sort of cream sauce in it or on top. Not 1 shell in the entire dish..The biscuit was lar
Amazing place. Very small place, looking most likely as dormitory kitchen. Very friendly, artistically decorated and delicious smell. Baking goods are excellent, coffee as good as could be and please, came early. After the day most of the pastries will be sold out.
This is our new favorite place for breakfast in New Orleans. It is quintessentially Bywater and so beautifully blended into the neighborhood. We were greeted by a very attentive and professional staff who were probably so upbeat because they know how great their place is. I have half and half in my
Great food, friendly service, the food came out fast. Dog friendly seating outside. Handicap accessible to the interior ( unsure about the bathroom). Order at the counter. Good coffee. Great biscuit!!!
Excellent food and service. It was very very busy but totally worth it. We had roasted vegetables omelette with a side of grits, tofu pesto sandwich with fried potato salad, fresh OJ and red velvet cupcake.
I think i’ve tried most of their menu items, and each and every one always better than the next. Myself and my husband have visited New Orleans 3 times and we eat here every morning on each visit. The chikory coffee is great, i mean just everything is great! The homemade jam with those biscuits are
One of the best places in the bywater, Cake Cafe is a cozy neighborhood restaurant with a great menu. The breakfast egg menu and lunch specials are spectacular and they have a good vegetarian menu as well. They also have one of the best King Cakes in the city (Apple goat cheese and Pecan Praline are
Came to Cake with a couple of local friends. A quaint, cozy room where you order at the counter and food is brought to you. I ordered the chicken breakfast tacos on special. Two flour tortillas filled to the brim with eggs, pico, roasted chicken breast, and guacamole. As a self-admitted taco addict,
This is my favorite breakfast place to visit while in New Orleans. It is a converted house and the food is amazing! Expect dishes like shrimp with grits, corned beed hash, lox and eggs, and much more. Be aware that it's a small dining area and often crowded but so worth the wait. Outdoor seating i
We had shrimp and grits, pork belly and grits, and boudin and eggs. With biscuits. It was so good. I think I cried a little bit. And the French Truck chicory coffee! A special custom blend! So, so good.
