Lodos Restaurant

We have dined in this restaurant at least 10-15 times in the past few years. The name has recently changed, however the menu remained the same. The food is great and the service was great. Tonight we were a party of 18. Yes, 18 people! All was great until we've paid our bill. Mind you, we left an 20% tip and a check was kind of high. Once we paid our check, we were told that the restaurant is closed. Basically, we were kicked out. And this was done very unprofessionally. All of us felt exactly the same way. The waiters were all smiles, however they no longer needed it after we've paid. We won't come back again and don't recommend anyone. Go somewhere where your 20% tip plus a bill for 18 will be appreciated.

If you're looking for alot of flavor in a cozy atmosphere, here's a good choice. The food is consistently good and authentic, the staff is attentive and pleasant and the decor is warm and inviting. Great place for a date night, even if you're double dating, or a night out with the kids. The only thing to watch out for is that parking is in the rear and you have to climb more than a few stairs to get to the restaurant but if you make the trek they'll make it worth your while.

Carol and I had dinner at Myra tonight. The shish-kaboob was perfectly cooked, seasoned and tasty. The tabbouleh was refreshing, and I quite enjoyed the sample of their grape leaves. Hats off to Chef John who was a great host as well as a great chef tonight with personality personified. It was a lovely evening and look forward to our next dinner at Myra!

Food was fine. Service was terrible. For three entrees for a group of three, it took over an hour and a half to get to us. Had to get up a few times to find and ask the server for water, utensils, and our check at the end. He was sitting at one of the tables just looking at his phone. I left a 15% tip. He stopped me to say the minimum was 18% and that I had to add the additional money. I said that was ridiculous but ended up paying to avoid further incident. Don’t plan to go back and would not recommend. The location in Paterson is better.
