Place was adequately busy for a midweek lunch time. Some tables still needed to be bussed but not at ours. Will say the time it took to have a server come by took a very long time compared to any other Vietnamese spot. Even for a restaurant in general. When we did get our order in the we received our waters. Each of our iced coffees came after our appetizers as well. Ordered egg roll and a spring roll but filled with pork rind. Standard egg roll. Pork rind if fried probably would've been a tad better but that gritty tiny feeling of the rind just might not be for me. Iced coffee was a bit sweet and lacking the bitter bite. My friend looked like he enjoyed his grilled noodle bowl, it did look good while I ate a top 3 BUN BO HUE. Noodles on point, sauce needed nothing extra, but my extra hot sauce chillies. Plenty of meat and enough for a second lunch later.

Looked at the menu before I walked in. I ordered a tofu noodle bowl. Arrived at 3:30 and told the server I was in a bit of a rush. Lucky for me it didn't seem to be busy. I decided to dine in. No lie by 3:45 I was done eating. I was impressed on the serving size and the flavors. Loved every breath of food I took. The server was quick to bring me my bill. Will absolutely come again!!

This place is such a great find! Flavor was great of everything ordered, quantity and quality was excellent, and service was fast and friendly! We had the beef stew, which had a great and unique flavor, and we also got the curry pad tai, which definitely lived up to its name of being spicy. Thankfully we love spicy! The fresh herbs that came with the stew just made everything so fresh and flavorful! We will definitely be returning!

The tofu and broccoli was good just lack of actual broccoli verse other vegetables was kinda disappointing. I enjoyed the flavor and texture of the tofu though!

I went to lunch here with my husband. I got the grilled beef noodle salad and husband got the chefs special pho. The service was ok and food was a bit above average. Overall our experience was good. The greatest part about Gion is their location. You won't find another Vietnamese restaurant in the Golden Valley/Plymouth location. So if you are craving a good bowl of pho in the west metro, Gion is worth the trip.

We tried Gion for the first time this weekend and it was SO delicious! We got the egg rolls, cream cheese wontons, beef lo mein, and wonton noodle soup. All of it was 10/10. The soup was an amazing deal, as I got two FULL meals out of it, and it was honestly even better the second time around. So many great toppings/additions, you can customize it to your liking. I can’t wait to try some other items on the menu.
