T-Swirl is one of those places that’s been on my list forever, but I finally had the chance to stop in last night! I ordered the banana chocolate crepe and a strawberry milk tea, and my family ordered the blueberry NY cheesecake crepe and a brown sugar milk tea. The variety of their menu was impressive, and everything was pictured or on display by the window, which is always nice. We all appreciated the slight crisp on the edges of the crepe and thought the overall flavor of each was good. The banana chocolate crepe had whipped yogurt which I found to be a little off-putting, but not the worst. I do think I would order a different one next time. The ingredients were fresh, and it’s nice that you can watch them make it. My mom enjoyed her brown sugar boba, and my strawberry one was okay, but had a bit of a perfume-y flavor. I’ve had better Japanese style crepes and boba tea, but this is a good option to have in the rotation.

I have to begin by saying that this is one of my favorite places for anything sweet and salty! The best combination EVER!!! love this place! I order the mango, rasberries and chocolate chip sweet crepe and I think I could eat 1000 of those. The creme is very unique, never had something like it before. The place has plenty of seating and very nice ambience. Highly recommended!

In the mood to try something new ? Try a crepe. They are good and not overly sweet, most come with a lot of fruits or veggies so no need to feel guilty when enjoying your choice. I chose the strawberry, banana Nutella and it was so good! The strawberries did not make the Nutella too sweet and it was a fun and enjoyable meal. Bubble teas are sold at a good price and also tasty. A must try if in the new haven area.

I got two sweet crepes- one berries and custard; the other strawberry, banana and Nutella. I ordered at a kiosk, then waited in the cafe until the folks behind the counter called my number. They were happy to bag both up in a travel-friendly way, and both crepes were delicious!

My kids always order a fruit and Nutella crepe. It’s very filling and generous with the fruit part. I tried the t swirl BLT and I was very pleased. My kids tried it and they loved it! We always stop by this place when we are in new haven. Would def recommend it

Love T-Swirl Crepe! This is my family's go to place when we crave for a different type of dessert. Staff are friendly, though service might be slow sometimes. Strawberry Banana Nutella is my favorite, but all are so good too. They offer 2 sizes, normal and mini. You guys should try! Small gem in the heart of College st.

From Sweet to Savory in a hand held cone of convenience. I've tried nearly every option for lunch since I discovered the place. Thai chicken so far is my favorite, so flavorful. Every sweet crepe is a guilt free treat.

I did not have an awesome time here, unfortunately. However, it was very busy and we were more sensitive to delays than usual because we were on the way to a show. We had to duck in because Bonchon was too busy and we had no time to wait. We got the spicy crab and the teriyaki chicken. Both were $12.50, which seems steep for what we got, but I know food prices are rising everywhere so my mental estimates are probably a couple years old. I would not recommend the teriyaki chicken — it was way too salty and the chicken was slightly dry. However, the bite of spicy crab I had was very good and not too spicy at all, even for me, who has zero spice tolerance. We waited for our number to be called for what seemed like way too long and when my boyfriend went to ask about it it had apparently been ready for a while because mine was cold. Again, they were very busy and it’s easy to understand how an order could go uncalled for 5-10 minutes but it did not make my salty crepe any better. We didn’t get any sweet crepes which seems to be more their specialty. All the staff was working super hard and very polite and I would consider returning for the spicy crab crepe sometime I’m not in a hurry.
