Nice vibe, decent food, friendly service. Salsa Verde and the mole sauce will take you straight to Oaxaca. And— they have Bohemia beer!

Friendly, warm spot for above average to very good Mexican food. Prices are a tad high but not too bad. Portions are generous.

Wanted to love this restaurant because of the reviews and vibes, but the food and service fell short. Restaurant is small but well decorated. Service was meh even though the restaurant wasn't busy when we were there. Asked for a drink menu, never received one. Food is average at best. Chips were very hard and had an odd taste. The shrimp quesadilla was drenched in grease and shrimp weren't deveined 🤢 so I didn't eat it. The burrito didn't have rice in it but the steak was okay. The enchiladas were okay, nothing special. We weren't offered a dessert menu so I don't know what they have or if it was good. Took awhile to get our check. Overall not a great experience and a waste of money so we won't be back.

This is a cool, funky little Mexican restaurant. The server was awesome and the food and drinks were delicious. There weren't many people when I visited today so the food arrived at our table super fast. The drinks are all either tequila or mezcal based, and they have beers. There's just street parking and it seemed to be plentiful. There's cool art on the walls and tables to look at. Give this place a try if you're in the area and in the mood for Mexican. Also, just to note, they accept credit cards but they don't take Amex.

I'm writing this review in hopes that management reads it and can take something positive away. For some context, I run a food business. I've eaten here three times and have wanted to love it because the vibe and branding are on point. But it seems to me that the menu development and recipes are not managed properly. We just ordered chicken quesadillas. A fairly straightforward Mexican dish. The rice was not good. It had a large chunk in the middle that was hard. It was overall pretty mushy and had no flavor. The beans had zero flavor. Literally out of the can and boiled. The quesadillas were just what seemed like boiled unflavored chicken and cheese. There wasn't any sour cream or salsa/got sauce or anything. Just an overall very mediocre dish. I feel as though there should be some standards set for recipes and making sure there is more flavor and attention put into the food. I don't hate the place, and i will return, i just think there are big improvements to be made with the food.

I’m giving 1 star because the Margaritas were good other than that the rice tasted old and the taco meat was flavorless and no salt, I went with a party of 7 and we overpaid. The food was really bad. I did not eat it all. One taste and I almost threw up the rice.

Excellent everything..authentic..must try it. I read some not so favorable reviews and want to make the point that this is AUTHENTIC, so not for TexMex fans. It was very clean, my husband is a stickler for this and even complimented them for it. Authentic means it won't be salty, you add it. And chips should be hearty and crisp, again not TexMex so if that is what you want..don't go. Free parking if you can grab it on the street, but $1 an hour if you use the lot right near.

I came here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch while in the area and after hearing how great the Mexican food was. We were able to find parking right on the street and didn't need to pay for a spot. The inside was colorful and had cool decorations on the tables as well as the wall. We were also seated immediately by someone and orders taken. They had some options on the menu that you don't see at a typical Mexican restaurant which was great as well as chips and salsa. The food came out in a reasonable time and the portions were pretty big as well. The enchiladas were good and the sauce they were in was flavorful. The mixiote verde pollo I felt needed a bit of salt and seasoning, same with the beans that came with both. But both were filling and enjoyable. It also took us a little bit to get our check and then had to flag the waiter down, but overall it was a nice visit. I recommend it for some good food and a nice atmosphere.
