We took out a pizza one night and it was very good (now this is coming from a Bronxite) went back a few days later and had eggplant Parm and it was delicious. Staff was great and happy 😁. Recommend the restaurant.

I've always loved Sara's. I typically get the pizza but yesterday I got a sub and pizza. The sub was the best sub I've had in a long time. There was some smokiness from the bacon and something else too, maybe they lightly grilled the meat, not sure, and the oil and vinegar had a bit of herbiness to it. So incredibly delicious, I'm already thinking about going back for more. So readers, get the Club Sub melt and add black olives, onions, banana peppers and oil and vinegar. Already comes with mayo, lettuce, tomato. Try it and tell me that's not the most scrumptious sub you've had in awhile! The pizza was great as always. They have more variety to offer on their menu than most Italian places, I need to try a burger next.

We were here on vacation, the food was so good we went back a second time!! Reasonable prices and wonderful staff. Had the cowboy hot sub, manicotti, meatball mozzarella and Hawaain fries appetizer, everything was excellent!

Great salad, sandwiches, and the Hawaiian French Fries w/ Pineapple, bacon, ham, cheese is Fantastic! Best Arnold Palmer drink. A must to dine at when you're in the area.

Great little Mom and Pop place. Friendly and homey atmosphere. Great food and prices. Eggplant flatini was great and my husband got Bigterraian and he loved how all the ingredients melted together for a wonderful taste. We are on vacation, but would definitely return again. We did also get a to go Pesto pizza. I am sure it won't disappoint.

My car club brought 24 guests at one time to her place of employment, Sara’s on Broad Creek road. She not only took all drink orders , menu orders and even kept glasses full to everyone’s satisfaction but delivered every order to the right patron as quick as the kitchen had them ready. I’ve had some great experiences with wait staff in my 55 years but Katie is at the very top of my list of the best service I’ve ever seen for a group of 24 and handled them completely solo. Hats off to Katie Heath for a job well done and if you want great food matched with even better service you must give Sara’s at 1150 Broad Creek Rd a try. Ask for Katie and tell her Uncle Bo sent ya!

1st time visit on a Fri nite. They were slammed, hence the 4 star due to slow service. Cozy place on the inside. Cute outdoor seating for cooler days. Live music that day was the fabulous Alisa Mike. Great place for meet up, couples nite out or a date nite. There will be a wait if busy. I noticed a lot of take out traffic. I ordered a side of Garlic knots to start. They were delicious but took a long time. We ordered 2 entrees, the Shrimp Scampi and Eggplant Parm which come with only bread. Both meals were top notch! Better than Carabas. Again a long wait but worth it. Most everyone around us had pizza so it must be good. We had cheesecake and coffee for dessert while we were seranaded by Alisha. She was the cherry on top of a delish meal. The art and wreaths that adorn the walls are for sale. Plan to come again. It was worth the scenic drive from Jacksonville.

After doing research of places to eat in or around New Bern, I decided on going to Sara's for pizza. We ordered traditional bone in garlic parmersean wings for an appetizer. They were very good, fresh and flavorful. Our waitress was so awesome! It was her first day by herself and you would have thought she worked there for years! She had a ton of personality and was very helpful with ordering and local recommendations. The menu had a ton of options, and the pizza was amazing! It was cooked perfectly and had so much flavor! As far as pizza goes, it is some of the best pizza I have ever had. They had live music outside and the atmosphere was very relaxed. The inside dining area is kind of small, so if you go with a large group there may be a wait. I highly recommend, we will be going back!
