I always love going to the Cow Cafe. It's pretty much a staple in New Bern. Everyone is so kind and nice and the food and ice cream are consistent and delicious. Sam is wonderful!!!

I LOVE ice cream. It’s one of my absolute favorite things. I’m so glad we found this place on our visit to New Bern, NC. They had a great selection of homemade flavors and sundaes. I had the “gooey cowphooey” sundae, and it was amazing! The portions were very generous and the prices were very reasonable. I hope I have time to go back before we leave and try the birthday cake ice cream. It has a cake batter ice cream base and sprinkles. My daughter had it and loved it. They also have a food menu! You must try it!

I absolutely love coming here. Anytime I go the staff is always kind and service is fast and amazing. Definitely go and get their bbq sandwich it’s so good.

More than just ice cream...yummy reasonably priced sandwiches. Great place for kids. Back room has a small play area and there is an operating train that circles the ceiling. Also a cool collection of salt/ pepper shakers on display.

Adorable mom & pop vibes! Loved the little train and had yummy milkshakes. They were so friendly and didn’t rush us out, could have stayed for a while.

I have been going to this place back when I was just old enough to walk. After all of these years, they still make exceptional ice cream. I would recommend the Rum raisin, and/or Lemon cookie ice cream. They used to have an ice cream with chocolate and malted milk balls which was my favorite when I was a kid. But that flavor must have been lost in time with the dinosaurs.

This is the Cow Cafe' in New Bern. If you love cows, this is the place for you! They serve lunch and dessert. In the back is a play area for the kids that looks like a little farm. We chose to sit back there. Our little ones had such a fun time! You’ve gotta love themed restaurants! It does tend to get very crowded so I recommend grabbing a table quickly. Such a cute idea!
