We love making a brief stop in New Baden's BEST Home Town Bakery - Berkemann's Baker's Dozen! A short distance from I-64 & their friendly staff took the time to pack our Birthday celebration goodies quickly.

Can't recommend enough! The price, the quality, everything is so great! I was a covid bride and Paul adjusted our order right away, no questions asked. Which was drastic because we wen't from needing a cake, cupcakes and donuts for 200 to only 30. Great experience and will definitely use again!
Wonderful little hometown bakery in New Baden, IL. They have AMAZING cakes and donuts. They did a beautiful cake for my step-daughter's birthday and the flavor was amazing. Their prices are very reasonable as well. I would highly recommend them!

This is the best bakery I have been too since my childhood. Everything is made from scratch. The taste and flavor of anything in their business guarantee you will be back. I will never buy a donut from any other place. They have cakes breads cookies it's amazing.The price is more than reasonable for what you are getting. Very community friendly great customer service and fast.

Berkemann's made our cake and donuts for our wedding reception. Everything was absolutely delicious! Tons of our guests commented on how great the cake was. They are great to work with and make the BEST wedding cakes!
This bakery must have come through the Twilight Zone because they are as good as the best bakeries of 60 years ago. I have been going there since they opened and I hope they will be around for many years. Check it out and you’ll see what I mean.
Cream horns and turnovers to die for.. Young employee was a sweetheart. So glad we went there.
