Panera Bread

This place is average at best. Service has been lacking, as it has at most places during/since Covid. The food majorly lacks flavor since they've done an overhaul on ingredients. The chicken for the sandwiches looks and tastes like canned meat. We ordered a large mac and cheese and it wasn't even a full container. Panera used to have really tasty food but changes have been made and it's been continuously disappointing and just average, while also not being the cheapest. This place is fine if you're just looking for an easy meal but no longer a family favorite. Also, I should add that online ordering has been a pain and calling in a simple order can take a solid 5 minutes. Would not return unless we really needed to.

Came here Tuesday evening for dinner. Went to the drive up window for order. Ended up with a mushy bread and overall the worst sandwich ever served to me. I should have known opening up the packaging there was avocado smeared on the outside of the packaging. The total for my meal was $31! The only thing they had to make was a simple sandwich and to scoop some soup. This is the second Panera bread in Ohio to give me poor service. I will never eat here again. I'd rather wait 30 minutes for a tacos or wings.

First I tried to get delivery online from Panera and they said there was no delivery in my area. We live 3 miles from there. So I went on doordash and placed my order. It was canceled. so I ordered direct for curbside p/u. Got there and hit "I'm here" and waited 10 minutes. No one came. So went in and my order was sitting on the shelf. I guess I should be thankful I at least got food as it could have been closed. The "new" normal.

I love the food at Panera but the menu I find very confusing at times. My husband and I came in today (2/12) and just the two of us it was $36 we got two pick two's and two halves of a sandwich and sound. That's a steep climb in price not to mention that it was a half sandwich and soup and a baguette. I think it'll be the last time we go in for a while.

Went through the drive-thru, attempted to order the “Family Feast”. Was told it can only be ordered inside. Parked and placed my order. It took over 30 mins to complete. They gave me a wrong sandwich. Made the correct one, with a single strip of turkey and it was a mayonnaise mess. I requested it be remade; and they simply shoved more ingredients on the already soggy bread. The grilled cheeses weren’t toasted at all. The group soup had enough solids in it for a single serving- the rest was broth. While waiting I witnessed other orders completed incorrectly and rolled eyes by the employees. The manager didn’t seem to care. Don’t bother with this location. Edited to add this was not during breakfast or lunch rushes. There appeared to be plenty of employees, yet multiple mistakes and slow service.

Gone down a lot since covid reopening. Menu is small and unappetizing. One good salad on menu, no good sandwiches or soups any longer. Smaller option of bagels and many are not as flavorful as before. Desserts and pastries fall short also. I am going for a couple of bagel flavors, the one salad, and the french bread only. Extremely disappointed in the post-covid changes.

Just ordered a mac and cheese grilled cheese with an iced coffee through doordash. The coffee was good but the half sandwich was an absolute joke. The sandwich was SO Small and there was like 4 little mac shells in it. There was barely anything on the sandwich. I wanted to post a picture but unfortunately my camera couldn't truly show the problem. I spent over $9.00 on the sandwich alone and my whole order was $23. The sandwich wasn't even worh $3.00. I'll never order food from panera again. I had to turn around and go to the cafe at my work just to order more food to have enough to eat for lunch. ...So i just spent over $30 for lunch today.

This is my 2nd business meeting today in a Panera Bread location. Apparently a very business friendly chain for restaurants. I have my Philadelphia business meetings in Panera Bread locations too. This is a new store with order kiosk available. The location is in a new business area with other marquee stores too. Considering it is new the place is clean and orderly. I will again and recommend to others.
