I get something different every time I'm here. Everything & I mean EV-ERY-THING is good. You can't go wrong no matter what you order. My wife has to (not chosen to) eat gluten free and Eagles has the best gluten free pie (pizza) I've ever tasted. Whether it's pizza, sandwiches, dinner, sides or cookies you'll be pleased. The dining room is a cozy, eclectic piece of local history. So enjoy the setting with some friends or family and eat a good meal here.
Eagles Pizza is a great place to eat! They have a variety of items on their menu. Their sugar cookies and cinnamon dessert pizza are to die for!!!! Those who work there are very friendly and take good care of you!! Love the ambiance there!!!! Definitely a place I will keep going to!!!
I have been going to Eagles pizza for over 30 years. Not much is changed in 30 years except for the exterior of the building. Great pizza every time. I live for the taco pizza.
This is really good family pizza, nothing fancy. It is definitely our choice when we order pizza for home. They don't deliver and it can be hard to get a table at the restaurant at busy times. But we live close and it always taste great (we tried several places when we first moved to Columbus but stopped looking after finding Eagles).
All The Way Pizza with Anchovies in New Albany, Ohio. It was the perfect day to put the top down and drive through the springtime countryside. We have driven past Eagle's Pizza hundreds of times, today it was our destination. There is off street parking. The restaurant is attractive. The interior is filled with memorabilia and antiques to enjoy while waiting for your meal. We placed our order at the counter, paid with our credit card, filled our cups and wondered why the radio was tuned to a talk show or news not quite loud enough to hear. Come on people, Italy has given us some of the finest music on the planet so let us listen to it. The huge salad arrived containing crisp lettuce, plenty of cheese, pepperoni, banana peppers, olives. Then the pizza with everything and anchovies arrived and we liked it. The crust is crisp, the cheese plentiful, loads of meat and veggies hot from the oven. We left with delicious leftovers. Two things I wish you would do: 1. Don't leave the cleaning supplies in the dining area. 2. Play some Italian background music.
Eagles pizza is by far my favorite pizza I've tried. I wouldn't go bar cdubs review. New Albany isn't Columbus it's a cute small town that has excellent pizza.
Great pizza!. The crust, toppings, and cheese are great! Sauce is a little bland with not much spice, but their ingredients are so good, A very pleasant surprise!
Great pizza, nice atmosphere. They don't accept credit cards.
Great Pizza--Ex Culinary Industry Chef giving honest reviews. All I can say is well played. Who would of imagined you could find amazing pizza in such a quant area? I consider myself a bit of a pizza snob and will say their pizza passes my test. The crust is the show stopper. The bottom has the flakiness of saltine crackers, the middle is soft, and the overall finishing bite is chewy goodness. The sauce is pretty bland but the cheese, toppings and crust are top notch.
Not only is the pizza fantastic but they have a pretty good size menu; subs, salads, pasta, chicken fingers...etc. It has a pretty warm family-friendly feel. Kinda reminds you of grandmas house, lots of trinkets, old antique items. Most of the employees are the local high school students who are all well mannered. They only take cash or check; no credit cards which is kinda backwards. But I guess they are probably doing it to cut costs.
Never had one complaint, pizza is always made within 10 minutes and ready to go. As an ex-chef I give them mad props. Donatos is right down the street and their large pizza is around $14-17 depending on what you get. Eagles sells theirs for $10.70 one topping large and I want to say $.25-.50 per extra topping. Not only do they beat the local places in price their food is comparable if not better.
We are planning on moving to Westerville and will commute for the pizza.
They don't take credit cards... so remember your check book or cash. Oh, and they don't deliver.
I usually order the sausage & pepperoni pizza ($12)... it's awesome! The sausage isn't that nasty generic meatball crap most places use... it's actual ground sausage. YUM!
I ordered their wings a couple times, they're pretty big & good... but way too much money!
I had a chance to try this place out the other day and I absolutely loved it. I am a big fan of this style of pizza which I would call regional to Ohio. Their sauce was on par and their crust was excellent. Overall the entire experience was wonderful and I will definitely go back. I did have a chance to try their spaghetti as well and was not impressed but to be fair I don't like spaghetti that well. The only time I eat it is when we make it at home and I make homemade sauce. They're sauce tasted like it was out of a can and it was really less desirable. I will say that their salads were good and they're fried mushrooms definitely tasted homemade.
Fantastic pizza my first trip here was the taco pizza, the third (in the picture the BBQ chicken with extra chicken). The pizza is awesome and the people have been super friendly in my three visits. Eagles is a must go to, if you like pizza!
Eagles is a nice family pizza joint with a variety of options I didn’t love the pizza her but my family did it was very saucey but I loved everything else there it has a great atmosphere of war monuments. It’s a great place to head for dinner we got a pizza burger and salad and they were all delicious. Will definitely come back
THIS PLACE HAS IT!! Ya know, that perfect thin crust pizza?? If you're a lover of thin crust pizza(not the chewy kind that you find at those franchise chains), then you know it's so hard to find a place with that specific thin crust that has the perfect thickness, with just the right amount of crisp and slight tenderness in the right places. Their taco pizza is fantastic, I highly recommend it. The meat is perfectly textured with a fine crumble so its distributed equally throughout. The flavors blend together perfectly. If it's your traditional pep&cheese you're looking for, top notch over here y'all! Don't waste time reading reviews, go grab ya some of the best pizza in the city!
Having never lived near Eagles, I've only had it here and there, sparingly, over a 30 year span. Every time, the flavor is the same. And it's delicious! For my money, the best zaa in Columbus. Crisp, cracker crust, perfectly cooked. Rich, but not overly sauced marinara. You MUST try the crumbled sausage, it's a game-changer. If you want consistently excellent pizza, Eagles is THE spot.
Now, we all know the Taco Pizza is AMAZING.. but the best kept secret is their sugar cookies from the bake shop of heavenly goodness. If you went to St. Francis DeSales and remember the sugar cookies that they had to rationed out throughout the lunch periods?? Yeah, these are just as amazing and honestly taste pretty similar. I literally dream about these cookies.
