Masala Art

I went for dine in, place is good. Service is also good but the food prices are to high compare to other restaurants. I ordered Mutton biryani which don't have taste, my friend ordered veg and he also felt the same. They don't serve any raita or any gravy with biryani so we have ordered raita. Based on the my above experience I can say I don't have a good experience there.

The following represents my experience with Masala Art in Needham. Your experience may differ but honestly if you don't like Masala Art then there is something wrong with you, not them. Food = 5 Stars Service = 5 Stars Staff = 5 stars Buffet = 5 Stars Dinner = 5 Stars Overall = 5 Stars Masala Art is simply the BEST Indian restaurant I have ever been to. The food is absolutely fabulous and delicious. They have so many options to choose from, even during their buffet lunch, that it will be nearly impossible to settle for just a few dishes. I have never had a bad meal or experience here. I have been to India (Hyderabad) and Masala Art delivers authentic Indian Food that will satisfy everyone. The service here is outstanding and the staff is excellent. Masala Art is absolutely one of my all time favorite restaurants! I can only imagine that the lower ratings must be very old and outdated. Because Masala Art has been one of the best dining experiences around for years. Don't miss out, head on over to Masala Art soon and enjoy an amazing meal.

Masala Art is a Needham gem. The food is good, well above average South Asian fare. They make all the staples, with some interesting menu choices for those willing to wander away from the tried and true. Clearly the on display Tandoori is one of their strong points. They offer both a large variety of vegetarian and meat eater choices. The staff are friendly and the service is great.

I go here at least once a month with colleagues and always get the buffet. Great ambience, great desserts. The food is not the best, but it's pretty good. Authentic recipes though so it's always a treat to have a buffet lunch with friends who haven't had Indian food as much. The Chaat bar is a nice touch!

Vegetarian and Indo Chinese dishes are not up to the standards. Tandoori chicken wing was alright for the appetizer. I did butter chicken take out for my father and he didn't enjoy it. Gravy is watery. Indo Chinese has ketchup taste to it. Rice served was cold. Long wait for food to be served. 2.5 stars to be accurate.

We have had so much Masala Art over the years, we had them cater two meals for our wedding back in September of 2018. One was a heavier dinner with appetizers for an evening event, and another meal was a lighter lunch. The good people at Masala Art nailed it! We heard nothing but compliments on both meals and are completely satisfied with their work. I didn't get a chance to try it (was busy getting married), but we heard the mango and rose flavored lassi drinks were delicious. They also set up and recommended different food stations which encourages movement/mingling of guests which worked out great.
