My wife & I visited this lovely quaint village in our campervan and stayed for 3 nights with our dog on the site behind the pub.
The site was tidy & the toilets/shower block was clean with lovely hot water. Washing up facilities were also available & good.
My wife is disabled & everything was easy for her to use with the shower room being fully accessible. Access to the pub was good for her too.
The food & drink in the pub was excellent. The prices were very fair too. We went in on Wednesday which is steak night. The service was friendly and quick.
We'll definitely be back to this gem of a place.

Fabulous lunch after walking with a group of 10 of us. Very prompt friendly service . The chips were best ever, crisp and dry. Would have no hesitation in recommending this pub.

Stayed for a couple of days on campsite, Staff were very helpful and friendly, Food was lovely, although a bit more stilton in the sauce would have been tastier.

Pre Christmas Dinner with the family. There was nothing I liked for starter so just had mains and pudding. Everything was cooked well. Service was good. Atmosphere was lovely Christmas songs were playing we were still able to chat amongst ourselves.

Great campsite toilet and shower very clean hot water for washing up. Good meal and drinks in the pub nice friendly staff and welcome. Bus stop right outside pub for those who don’t want to drive.Will come again.

We went here for steak night. What a lovely location! There was plants for sale, little animals to see, a campsite. A wonderful, charming pub. Our hosts were polite and took the time to chat. Definitely a place to visit.

We were staying at the campsite so it was easy for us to try out the pub onsite and we were glad we did 😀 we had a lunchtime drink and then enjoyed a lovely meal outside on the under cover terrace - we had our dog with us 😁 and the service was friendly, polite and quick ! Food was delicious and great value - we are here for a week so we will be back 😋
