We had an excellent server named Honesty. She provided us with great recommendations! Food is on the pricey side. Birrias were slightly on the dry side. The nachos (not pictured) appetizer were really good! You will not want to share. Ordering the Mexican fried rice is an absolute must!! Nice portions, enough for 2-3 people to share. All in all, great atmosphere and service.
In a word: Tasty. The food here is very tasty and they put a different twist on some of the traditional dishes, such as the Cesar salad. They added avocados and radishes and you can choose from grilled shrimp, chicken or steak for an additional cost of course. If you can’t choose from the 3 choices of guacamole, then there’s an option to choose all 3 for around $28, which I thought was quite expensive. The salsa was pretty good, not spicy at all. The chips were average and the margaritas were good as well. The menu items are ala carte, and rather pricey. The service was good and the decor nice and inviting.
Would I return? No. Not likely.
Beautifully located to see the views National Harbour provided! The food was exceptional and the wait time was not too long, especially for a Friday night. I loved the ambiance and the servers were all very attentive to their guests. You must try the table side guacamole, it’s so yummy! The photos don’t give the food justice, you must go in and try it. I had the rice and beans as well as the mushroom tacos and they were phenomenal. I will come back when in the area again!
Just wow! Easily the best Mexican food I have ever had, in any state! Just go, and be prepared to be back again the next day. The nachos are not what you are expecting and nothing will ever come close. Table side guacamole is too die for. Seriously one of the best restaurants!
I highly recommend the guacamole trio! The different flavors are great. Includes bacon, crab and pineapple. The tacos and plantains were good as well as the mac and cheese with queso. The drinks were great. I had a blood orange martini. The waitress was very nice and gave good recommendations but she was very busy with multiple tables.
I had a great time. The kids had a great time and got to try some new foods. But even better my wife really enjoyed herself. Happy dad and husband combo for the win. The food and drinks were excellent. The service was kind of spotty at the end of our meal. I attribute that to the after lunch rush. Great experience. The pictures of the food would have been better, but we started eating first and pictures came during the meal hahaha. We were hungry!
I was a little worried at first because the service was on the low end, but then it picked up and got better. The drinks were tasty. Couldn’t taste the alcohol but it was surely some in there. The guac was amazing. We got the spicy kind and it had a nice punch. We, also, had the bacon and cotija topper. Phenomenal!
