If you're ever in Natty, you NEED to stop here for the ultimate meat pie. Lasyone's is a small restaurant that can feel cramped sometimes, but the atmosphere is cozy and friendly. The staff are kind and remember faces even after months have passed. Love the food, will be back for sure.

This place has been around for a long time. Cute photos of the owners with articles line the walls. Super nice home town service. We also tried the cheese fries to start & were pleasant surprise. Frozen fries but the multiple cheese made the dish.
Was everything the reviews said-great experience! Lasyone’s might be lacking in decor, but service was good and the food tasty. Tried the appetizer portions of chicken & sausage gumbo, shrimp & grits, and side of the famous meat pie. They did not disappoint! Definitely recommend a visit here to experience this famed institution!
A must-stop every time I'm in Natchitoches! The meat pies are great with brown gravy; ask for a small side of brown gravy. I've eaten here for decades and love it! I've never had a bad experience. The servers have been there for decades also.

Came here for lunch on a Sat. (from the Lafayette/St. Landry Parish area): it was quiet/not busy at all.
Our waitress was cordial and pleasant to us.
Ordered items:
1. Started with a cup of chicken and sausage gumbo: more soupy, but the meats or fresh ingredients were not lacking. It tastes like they may use Manda sausage.
2. Beef Stew: yummy! Just like maw-maw made it in her kitchen and the way I do mine.
The cornbread is GREAT!!!!!
The hamburger steak...not so good. It wasn'y bad...it's just...the other food was SOOOOO MUCH BETTER!

We stopped by on our way to New Orleans and it’s definitely a place to stop by. Especially if you ain’t from the south. This little gem is superb. We had the Corn fritters, shrimp and grits, meat pie, crawfish pie and mashed potatoes. Those corn fritters are something else. Absolutely my favorite thing.
Famous for their meat pies (which are delicious!!), they also serve delicious everything else. We go for the liver and onions when I'm home! Carrot souffle is also wonderful!! The place is always busy, the staff running their legs off with their minds busy on what to do for the house full of customers...however, you will usually see one bright smile, no matter how busy the day. This will be Mrs. Helen. IMO, the next best reason, besides the food, to eat here.
