This place is located off the beaten path. The menu has small variety but offers food with Big flavor. I have visited twice recently within a month. There is a bar and the staff is so nice. Also there is a lovely patio adorned w lights for outside seating. The servings are hearty and tasty. The place is clean, I will come again.

Super cute and has a relaxing atmosphere! They were super busy that day so the wait was a bit long but was expected with the volume of people. Servers were friendly and helpful, all and all we really enjoyed our lunch!! I would totally go again, and I would for sure order the bacon wrapped pork tenderloin because it was ah-may-ing! Also the best potato casserole I've ever eaten in a restaurant! They're definitely worth checking out!!

We were visiting the Cane Creole National Historic Park and asked the ranger for a dinner suggestion. He spoke very highly of this place just a short distance from the park. Great food and service. The bread pudding was awesome. If in the area again we will definitely be back.

Found this place completely on accident, but much like Bob Ross's famous saying, it was a "happy accident". The food was amazing and the service was great! The staff were also very friendly.

The service was pretty slow, but the food more than made up for it! I had the Cajun pasta with sausage, shrimp and chicken, and I truly might say it was the BEST food I have ever had. The environment was fun and inviting, and the building was very cool, especially for being in a more rural area!

My brother and I have eaten at this establishment many times while he attended college at NSU. Nothing bad to say about the food at all. However, we did reserve a table for our whole family to dine there after his graduation. When we arrived at the restaurant party (12), we were seated next to one of the owners (Sylvia) who just so happened to be drinking at a table with a few of her lady friends. We had toddlers with us who were playing and making a little noise. So the owner stepped away from her table and proceeded to approach one of her employees to inform us that a certain toy wasn’t allowed in the building… No problem at all. The toy was placed outside back into the car. The ladies finally finished their drinking and decided to leave. Upon leaving, one of the owner's lady friends decides to stop on her way out the door and ask my grandma a super inappropriate question… As the owner heads into the kitchen smiling, about 2 minutes later, the cooks come to the entrance of the dining room door and start smiling and pointing at our table as the owner continues to laugh at our table. We decided to pay for the appetizers we ate and the drinks that we drank and left this establishment extremely disappointed and a graduation meal ruined.

Cool little place. We live in Alexandria so this is about a 50-minute drive, but definitely worth it. Friendly and fast service. Food & drink choice is broad. Ordered the creamy creole pasta and bacon-wrapped pork medallions - both were wonderful. Artichoke wontons fantastic appetizer. Good stop for lunch if you are taking in some of the historic attractions in the area.
