Breakfast House

The only reason I give it one star is because I can’t write a review without giving a star, if I had a choice it would be zero. We had high hopes for the this places that we were going to get some authentic Mexican breakfast. My food was horrible, I couldn’t cut the burrito with the knife I was giving but that wasn’t the real problem. The real problem was the service, the server started out nice. The restaurant started getting busy and she was the only waitress and I understand that she may have been overwhelmed but that was in no way our fault. We asked if she could refill drinks and she acted as if that wasn’t her job and rolled her eyes as she walked away. We overheard her taking the order of a couple that was behind us and when they asked her what an item on the menu was she couldn’t tell them what it looked like so I looked it up on my phone and handed her my phone so she could show them a picture of what it looked like. When she handed me my phone back she didn’t say thank you or anything. As she took our order before that couple she had no clue of what the items were on the menu or what came on them so I thought I was doing her a favor by looking up the item for the other couple but apparently I was wrong. My daughter never got to taste the food while it was hot because she asked for hot sauce and the server didn’t bring it until twenty minutes later, by that time her food was cold. When we asked for a drink refill she rolled her eyes grab the cup walked off and I literally had too sink my fingers nails into my arm so I would not snap on that server. I have been a waitress so I understand it may take time to serve all your customers, but that is never an excuse to be rude. Me and my family will not be back to the restaurant not because of the food but because of the service. And when we told the person working there that we wouldn’t be back because the waitress was very rude, she acted like she didn’t even care.

First the only reason I'm giving two stars is because my food was good.There were 4 of us and only two of us liked the food. As for the service... it started off good but by then of our meal the waitress was rolling her eyes and being rude for no reason. The place was not that busy but she seemed to be the only waitress but that's not our fault and it shouldn't have been taken out on us. Every question we asked about things on the menu she had no clue what it was or what came in them. When the food came out mine was not complete and she had to return to the kitchen to get the rest (which was not a problem) but when I was expected to move the plates around for her to place the other plate down it was a little much especially when the plates were hot and she had pot holders. When she brought the the ticket instead of placing it on the table and saying "here's the ticket let me know when you're ready " she held it out in my face and said "here's the ticket " with a very rude attitude and expression and rolled her as as she walked away. We won't be back.
