Ihop

The staff were great. It seemed like a long wait to be seated, again to order, and again to get the food. I could speculate as to the reasoning, but I don't really know. I ordered the current special burger, the Wonka Burger, it was more thoroughly cooked than I prefer and it didn't live up to the advertisement picture, but these things rarely do. The other meals looked as expected and we all had a good time, just took longer than we expected.

Talk about being impressed! We (2) stopped in on Thanksgiving Eve. We literally had the seats of our choice. I know IHOP is Tops for casual dining. That is to say. No one does it like IHOP!! But this location tucked in the corner of a small mall is new and clean. The waiter Johnny was exceptional and the food! OMG... it looked just like the brand new menu items pictured. The fruit cup had farm fresh fruit strawberries sliced grapes and cantaloupe! Mmmmm I ordered a vanilla chocolate latte and breakfast. It was delicious!! So delicious I asked for the cook to come out and greet us!! Oh yes I did! Willy prepared and cooked our food. He came out right away and he was so excited to know that we enjoyed his cooking. I wanted to show him our appreciation and both acknowledge him and tip him too! Of course he refused but I insisted. I will not eat anywhere else when in the area. I suggest you do the same. You'll be glad you took my recommendation.

Stopped in on a Monday around 9:30am not an extremely busy time. We stood there for 7 minutes before anyone came to seat us. There were lots of tables that needed to be cleaned. There were two people working. The male was telling customers sad stories about his life trying to get tips from customers. Such a sad thing to see someone in a restaurant do. The food came quickly. The OJ tasted like flavored water. The bacon didn't have much flavor. Which I thought extremely odd.
