Pastime is a great addition to the area surrounding First Tennessee Park, and offers a really cool ambiance to enjoy before going to a Sounds game. The center field entrance to the park is just a few steps away, so it's very convenient for pre-game or post-game dining & drinks. The food is excellent. I had the Steak & Shroom Pizza and Hot Chicken Taquitos. Both were very, very good. The service was mostly excellent. The server wasn't aware of the drink specials, and it took him a little while to get us our check, but one of the managers noticed that we were finished eating and came to help us (the server then showed up with another copy the check just after the manager did)...but, to be fair, the server was very busy with other customers, so he gets a pass. It was good service for the manager to step in, though. Also, they didn't have their beer taps installed yet (they said they'd been open for 3 months), so bottled/canned beer was all that was available when we visited. Considering the quality of the food and the location, the prices are reasonable. Pastime will be a new stop for us, whether there's a baseball game happening or not. Our first experience was superb.

This is a brand new restaurant located about a block and a half from the new Nashville Sounds baseball park, just east of the Bicentennial Park. The restaurant is neatly setup with modern decorations, high chairs, and lots of TV all around. I visited during lunch time, and although the place weren't busy, the hostess and servers were friendly and attentive. The food served at this restaurant is not your typical bar food. I had the Lamb Burger for lunch. Great flavor with outstanding bread bun. The Gouda Mac & Cheese side was also excellent. This restaurant certainly needs the word of mouth referral to get business going. I will certainty visit this restaurant again to try their other menu items. I strongly recommend this restaurant.

Went for a special event and enjoyed the "patio" area. It was nice and breezy. I imagine it would be cozy with the fire pit in cooler weather. The service was excellent and the Cobb Salad was top notch.

There's lots of seating and tables for big parties. The food tasted good, but it was a little overpriced for the portion. There's not a kids menu here.

Great open air dining, delicious food. Nice to get out of the craziness of downtown and enjoy the food, drink, and friendly staff.

We went and met up with the Roadies before a Nashville SC game. Great atmosphere! There were soccer matches on all the Tv's and good music playing. They accommodated well for the crowd and service was good. We'll definitely be back!

As a season ticket holder for the Sounds I was so pleased to stumble onto this hidden gem. They have fantastic Happy Hour specials and their food items are great. The pesto chicken sandwich, hummus and arugula salad were all very fresh and made with quality ingredients. The interior is very comfortable with both indoor and outdoor seating. We will be repeat customers!

Hands down the best restaurant I’ve been to in a very long time. Drew was an absolute pleasure, and David was extremely hospitable. Not to mention, David is a UT grad. Would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. And to top it off, the buffalo chicken pizza was absolutely incredible.

Pork chops are not something I would normally go to a restaurant to order but i decided to this time. I am so glad that I did! They were the best pork chops I have ever eaten in my life! Every time I come to Nashville I will be stopping by Pastime to enjoy the great food. The staff, atmosphere, and food are very enjoyable! Thank you for the great experience!

Just dropped in on the newest" It Spot" in Nashville and was blown away by what i saw and experienced. Third Ave N. has never been so much fun! Thanks to an invite from Suri Jon, I was able to enjoy a seat at the bar before the dinner rush and enjoyed a great lamb burger and seasoned fries and an excellent beverage. Suri showed me around and upstairs on the awesome sun deck and I can imagine all kinds of good days and nights up there just as soon as it quits snowing. The food was outstanding and the service staff was warm and personable and engaging. Very refreshing. A couple of things I liked best about the place were to multiple zones and bars ( fire tables on the back ) and convenient $3.00 parking right across the street. I give it 5 stars and can not wait to go back on a nice warm Spring day. Excellent job of blending the old Nashville with the new.
