Review Shipley Donuts - Nashville

It has been awhile since I have had Shipley's and I have to say better than I remember. The cake donut was especially good.

Great place for fritters,and tasty 🍩. Just remember to order 5 dollars if using credit or debit card

Excellent! ! FAST, FRENDLY, and did I mention really good DONUTS! People who leave a 1 star because they are out of donuts are idiots. If you wanted a day old commercial donut go somewhere else that can afford to throw away hundreds of donuts a day just to make sure you get the donut you want at the time you want it. Your a moron! Go to walmart. How can they know when people will rush in and clean them out. By the way if I drove 30 min just for a donut I might just call ahead first.

Although I arrived 40 minutes before closing, the doughnuts were still fresh. The server recommended the apple fritter, and then gave me one to try. It was outstanding!

Shipley has the best donuts I've ever eaten. I could easily have them every day. The employees are always very sweet as well

My son looks forward to donuts before school with his daddy almost every day. Sweetest lady in the world always gives us one free donut every time 😻

Love the food and the prices. This is one of the best places to get some donuts. However, they close early afternoon.

A pleasant surprise, first time visit at the recommendation of my daughter. Doughnuts were light fresh and very good.

This location had a great selection, very clean, and the person working this morning was extremely polite and patient as I had to pick out a large amount and several different people. Will definitely be going there from now on!

Donuts are delicious and it is not only cheaper than dunkin but I believe they taste better as well!

This place has do-nuts unlike any other. They remind me of the kind we got off the bakery truck that came to our neighborhood as a child.

The Do-nuts are the best, but they don't always have them to sell to the customers that walk in because they are making them for call in orders. Very irritating.

Google says they open at 5 a.m. I got there at 6:15, the door said they open at 6:30, i waited till 6:40 before calling both phone numbers with no response. Bad Job �

I absolutely love Shipley's donuts. Don't get me wrong it is a fantastic franchise brand. But this location is so bad, I have to say something about it. I got there at 6:15 one morning. They weren't open at first. The hours they had listed on the door were 6am through 1 pm everyday. An employee opened the door at 6:20. That is the first sign of a bad business. The least you can do is be open when your hours are listed. Anyways I go inside and look at the display case. there was nothing in the display case. Absolutely nothing. No glazed, no filled donuts, no kolaches....nothing. I was in disbelief. How can a donut shop have nothing in their display case as soon as they open their doors to customers? Five minutes later the employee brought one tray of glazed and a tray of cake donuts. I just bought a dozen glazed, left and I will never go back. I have a question for whoever owns this business. Why are you even operating this franchise? I mean honestly, why are you wasting money on electricity to this place? You need product in order to make any sort of profit whatsoever. It would be one thing If I came to your shop an hour before closing and you're low on product then. Totally understandable. But having nothing when you open doors to customers? C'mon. Sounds like the employees of this location just make whatever product they want and honestly just don't care if you want a kolache, filled donut, ect. Why in the world would anyone repeat business with a place that doesn't have what you want about 95 percent of the time? Also sidenote, I don't even think this location served coffee lol. Don't quote me on that, but if I'm right, that is just pitiful
