The gluten free chocolate truffle cake was one of the highlights of our wedding. I'm serious! I'm jealous of a cake :-) And they're super nice and efficient, too, more than any of the other cake makers we were in touch with. Sadly we don't live in Nashville, but it would be worth moving there just to be closer to Dessert Designs (every weekend, ideally). Thank you a million for your amazing work, it really made our day <3

Very friendly staff. Great cakes and wonderful designs. I spent a lot on the cake but it was definitely worth it for the event. Everyone loved the taste and how beautiful it was. Especially her!!!

For our wedding we got the Almond Amaretto with buttercream icing with one layer of caramel between the cake and frosting. The tasting experience was a lot of fun and our preferences for design were exactly matched. The cake looked and tasted incredible!

Dessert Designs is THE go-to place for any occasion that calls for cake! Year after year, DD's cakes have been part of many special family occasions: weddings, showers, baptisms, first communions, confirmations, graduations, holidays, and birthdays (each of our four sons requests their favorite DD cake every year for their birthday) Whether I placed a specific order or dropped in to grab one of the fantastic cakes they have in store, the level of service and the quality of the cakes (talent and taste!) are second to none.
I highly recommend checking out the in-store selection! Those cakes and desserts are the perfect addition when taking someone a meal or when you need to grab something to bring to a party or gathering!
We had a great experience with using Dessert Designs for our wedding. The team was great in crafting a perfect menu for our wedding's cake bar with 9 different flavors, and they tasted delicious! Our guests specifically were texting me the next day asking about them!
We did have a small issue with a price discrepancy after what we were originally quoted, so that is the reason for the missing star, but we got it figured out and had a good experience!
Always exceptional quality but today was customer service was above and beyond. I ordered special birthday cake to pick up today and there is a snow storm. Dessert Designs called at 7:30am to notify me that my cake was ready for pick up. I had anticipated that they would be closed due to weather and there would be much disappointment without the fabulous chocolate peppermint cake. Thank you for going out of your way to make it happen! Hard work and exceptional quality are a winning combination!
we had a small wedding and Leland Riggins made a lemon cake and a chocolate cake. They were delicious! People kept asking who had baked them! We were thrilled! I highly recommend this bakery!!
