A cozy, friendly, neighborhood place with a broad menu and authentic food. My mesquite grilled shrimp would have looked better if I left them on the skewer. But they were very tasty. Still not as Tex-Mex as you'd find in Texas, but a great local alternative.

We've been going here for a decade or so & it's only gotten better. The salsa with fresh cilantro is almost drinkable. Large variety of menu options. The fajitas are so good & fresh. Shrimp enchiladas are my favorite. Beans delicious with no hint of lard! Fabulous friendly staff. Excellent drink menu. Clean & pleasant atmosphere.

I absolutely loved the atmosphere. It was dimmer than most Mexican restaurants. It seemed cozy. We chose to eat on the patio. Not much of a view but the weather was nice. Wife chose tamale special and it was fantastic. I went with the Tracy Special, a house items because it appears very similar to fajitas, which is what I really wanted. But I thought for $4 cheaper I would give it a try. Nope. Steak was of very poor quality. The wait staff was nice. The salsa was fantastic. I will go back but order something different.

I was pleasantly surprised at the great service and wonderful food. The margaritas we're excellent too. We sat outside and the weather was perfect. It had a great crowd there and the inside had great private booths. It's right next to Dollar General if you drive past it.

This has my go to for comfort food for the past 18 years. When they had a second location downtown I would sometimes eat it for both a quick work lunch (downtown) then again for dinner at this Bellevue location near home. I've had wonderful meals alone, with family, friends, co-workers, dates and now I take my children. Their salsa and queso are perfectly thin for dipping yet big on delicious, bold flavor. I can count on fresh ingredients and deliciously prepared meals for dinner in or carryout. Customer service has always been great, I appreciate the team that keeps it going!

Love these guys !! When we lived in Bellevue we ate there at least once a week and sometimes more. The staff is awesome and the food is always consistent. I think we've probably ordered just about the whole menu and everything is good.

I want to start with the great things: the waitstaff and greeter were all super nice, the place seemed clean and welcoming, and the service was fast.
Sadly, the food was just alright.. the salsa was too tomato-y and needed more onion, cilantro, salt, pepper; taco salad with marinated chicken was good but I did have some gross grit in the chicken that wasn’t pleasant biting into. The chips were honestly bleh.. no flavor and tasted like they were stale or had been put back in the fryer multiple times. And the cheese dip also didn’t have much flavor to me, plus just a preference maybe, but I like more thickness to my cheese dip even when it’s hot and theirs is super watery/thin.
It’s not horrible, but we will probably be trying other places to see how our local Bellevue Mexican restaurants compare and hope to find something a little more exciting with their fare.

A marvelous Mexican restaurant owned by Bellevue residents. The marinated steak they use in their fajitas, salads, and burrito verde (my favorite) is always so tender and flavorful. Get a queso with your chips and a carafe of margaritas instead of two singles. Enjoy! ❤️

I have been a consistent customer to this restaurant for many years and typically go there at least twice a month. We usually have the same waitress who knows us well and goes out of her way to make sure we are happy. However we ate there tonight and We will NEVER be going back. As usual, we had an adult table and a table. My husband left right after dinner to take the kids home while 3 of us remained. We had 4 drinks between 4 adults, 3 entrees, one kids meal and a cheese dip. Upon paying we asked our waiter to split our bill. During that time we were billed for an item we did not get. We assumed the kids ordered it but the waiter told us it was at our table. When we insisted that we did not order it the waiter said "oh I must be lying then". He finally took it off our bill but insisted that we ordered it even after my husband called later. The manger was sitting there and never spoke up. The fact that implied we were lying was uncalled for. Of all the years I have been going there this I have never had a waiter accuse me of lying and to my knowledge have never argued over s bill. What really upset me was that the manager never stepped in even when we asked about her. Poor customer service combined with management who obviously doesn't care about their client base speaks volumes about the restaurant.
