I have been in Nashville for just a little over nine years. Just heard about this lovely establishment yesterday! Tried the Whitting fish sandwich. It was delicious!!! Note: CASH ONLY

Locals may know this, but this visitor did not. Ed's Fish & Pizza House does not sell pizza 😂. It's all good because I went for the fish! I love some fried fish. A staple in the Nashville community that has stood the test of time!!! THE BEST WHITING FISH SANDWICH that you will ever put in your mouth!!! Always FRESH!!! There are cars waiting in line to be served at the drive-thru! A MUST HAVE!!!
Ed's is a super old school place, has been here before Nashville was a thing. Super personable staff, family run. It just feels good being here even before you get to eat. The whiting was fresh, clean fry oil, bread soft. Spot on. 10/10 will be back.

You can tell Ed's is an establishment when you roll up at lunchtime by the line of cars. The signage tells you they've been specializing in the whiting fish sandwich since the 1970s and you owe it to yourself to find out why.

Best fish sandwich in Nashville, period. Been coming here for decades. CASH ONLY and DRIVE THRU ONLY since covid I think so can't fault them too much for atmosphere. Be prepared to wait for a while, this place is popular because it's so damn good.
Most excellent! Had the whiting sandwich, sounds odd with onions mustard, pickles and white bread. However it all comes together and is super good. Will eat here again.
