Had breakfast at Maggie's. From outside, it looks like a hole in the wall, but the food is quite good. Cashier who takes orders is extremely friendly, and aims to be helpful. Food came out quick and hot. Biscuits seem homemade. Would recommend if you are up for a good, "no frills" diner experience.
I liked it!!!. I am an out-of-town visitor who had some time to kill around lunchtime. I stopped in here for a quick bite to eat and was pleasantly surprised. The people behind the counter were enough to give Maggie's a good rating (they were very friendly). I ordered the tomato soup and the hot brown sandwich, both were very good in my opinion. The next time town, I would love to go back.
It's like a home meal away from home! Prices are cheap and the menu is simple and that's a good thing! Like I said before, the food won't blow you away but for something on the go or if you don't want to spend a lot of money on breakfast or lunch this is the place. I loved it because it didn't make me feel horrible for getting the $4.75 ham and cheese omelette. That was the most expensive breakfast item! Just like home!
One of Thee best sandwich places downtown! (located in Arcade) I've had their Reuben sandwich and have had the chili and they are both very delicious and the price is reasonable as well. 😋🥪 🥗🍽️👌🏽
This is a great family-owned restaurant with delicious food. It is a simple southern diner with tons of flavor. We work in the downtown area and have been ordering lunch from Maggie's for 5+ years-- everyone loves it. I recommend the patty melt 100%. Never had a bad experience, even if they were extremely busy with low staff.
I love the service here! The people were so nice! The grilled cheese was okay, but the seafood chowder was DELICIOUS!!
Great food that is always cooked to order and fresh. In regards to service, I have never had a bad experience. They even go so far as to remember exactly what I order. So, Gabriel, maybe its you that needs to take a step back and check your attitude instead of going online blasting a locally owned restaurant that is trying to stay afloat in Nashville's competitive market.
We are out of towner's as in Wales UK out of town. We stumbled upon Maggie's while looking for another breakfast place found on a Google search. Glad we didn't get there. Food was great, service was great without the "kiss ass". We had some great banter with the staff, plenty of cheeky sarcasm from both sides but not rude or insulting. Loved it.
I'm not downtown often but when I am, I make a point to eat at Maggie's. It's hard to say my favorite food-- burgers, chicken salad, tossed salad with fried or grilled chicken....I could go on and on. The chicken tenders and fries are amazing with the best honey mustard ever! In regards to the gal with the two-star post (that hardly made sense) if you don't have a sense of humor, or if you have a chip on your shoulder, you may not have as much fun as the gal from the UK and I do with the staff. Great place!!!
I love this place! I work next door and it is a hidden gem. Get my breakfast here almost every day, you can’t get better quality for your buck! Such a family oriented store and the guy at the register, John, is a very nice man.
I've been going to Maggies ever since I started working down town 12 years ago. I go almost daily for their breakfast and a couple of times a week for lunch. The food is always excellent, and the employees provide fast, friendly service.
Always been a favorite place of mine for their chicken tenders and fruit tea. Decided to switch it up and get a burger, perfect! The food is always hot and fresh. Always a polite staff. Thanks!
