Wow, shrimp and rice as well as the fried shrimp were perfection. The right use of spices on pan fried shrimp and the peppery batter on fried shrimp and catfish was light and delicious while the fish and shrimp were moist inside. The creamy chili rice had great flavor and cole slaw too was a hit. A great find and looking forward to a return visit for this at the farmers market food court.

The food here is always great. I especially like the chicken strips. They're handmade and seasoned to perfection. Honestly though, I've never had a bad meal here. My only complaint is they're closed on Monday, which happens to be when I am traveling through most often. They are definitely worth checking out.

This took the whole southern fried food thing to another level! Nashville definitely has a positive with this one. They are definitely competing with the new orleans-style restaurant right down the way. Yummy in my tummy is all I can say
I don't think you will be displeased with this place and definitely can share a portion on a good day. Eat well and don't get too full and stuff your belly because I can tell you that is super easy to do that.
However do you want it? However do you need it? I know one thing you just need to eat it! Get that tune in your head and try to get it out. Eat well

While buying veggies at the Nashville Farmers Market I had lunch at Delta 61. I'm so glad I chose them for lunch. I had the most delightful lunch of pan seared shrimp and green chili on rice. Their sign boasted of made from scratch food and I have no doubt my lunch was fresh and made from scratch. The green chili sauce is creamy and very tasty.

Today was my second time eating at Delta 61. I had to order the creamy rice! Its amazing!!! I also had shrimp to go on top. The service was very pleasant and the food is really really good! Thank you for the wonderful flavors Delta 61!

Ordered lunch from there today via Grubhub and the food was very fresh. The fried fish was very "down home" and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. Plenty of utensils and napkins were included without having to ask. I highly recommend and will likely be eating from there again in the near future. ��

Stopped by today and had the most amazing pan seared shrimp with green chili rice. The rice the sauce and the shrimp paired well together. The fruit was was refreshing and tasty and I don't even like tea! Can't wait to try the tamales! Great portion size for the price! Hidden jewel at the market.I definitely will be back!

I brought my mom and she wanted some peach cobbler. The peach cobbler was so good it made me want to slap somebody. My mom went back and got 3 more before we left the market. The peach cobbler was perfect and it wasn’t to sweet at all. I haven’t tried anything else but I’m definitely found me a new place to go eat at the farmer’s market.

Yummy! The shrimp and green chili rice was just like a dish I would get in New Orleans. The cheesy cheddar biscuits were delicious. The owners are very nice and well deserving of your hard earned money. We have eaten at a lot of the places in the food court of the farmers market and this place is by far the best!!!

I had the grilled pork chop, garlic and basil potatoes,and fried green tomatoes. Everything was delicious! Tammy offered amazing customer service. I was there on my lunch break did not take a long time for food, and my fried green tomatoes were cooked to order. Will definitely be going back to visit.
