When my husband says to write a review, the food is very good. Catfish, mashed potatoes and brown gravy, and green beans for him, country fried steak, mashed potatoes and brown gravy, and macaroni and cheese for me. Both were delicious but especially the catfish which was the best he’s ever had. We both highly recommend this place.
Great family place serving straight-up southern food. I was visiting from the UK and don't get the chance to eat this kind of food often. Hattie was friendly and helpful and guided me through the menu. I ate twice on a 3-day visit. The meatloaf was perfect and one of the best I've had. The mashed potato was creamy, soft and just the right amount of seasoning as were the green beans. The water cornbread was something special, the baked tilapia soft and melt-in-your mouth.
Stopped by on our road trip and so glad we did! The food was outstanding, the service was incredible! Hattie, the owner, was a true vision of Southern hospitality and made us feel like we were at home. I wish we lived closer so we could come back all the time, especially for the Mac n cheese and the company!
Stop reading reviews and just go eat some food! It is all amazing. The meatloaf was the best I ever had. I even ordered 2 veggie plates so we could try all their sides. NOTHING was bad. This is grandma's southern cooking.
I was a bit skeptical about trying this place but I’m glad I did. The Mac and cheese is so delicious!!! Definitely 10/10 and will be coming back for more!!!
As a busy barber H & T’s is where I go to get a good soul food plate for lunch ! Service is great , staff is friendly and the food is delicious!
Omgoodness, let me tell you!! This place right here, this place, is the best meat and 3 I've ever eaten at period! I had the BBQ chicken, mashed potatoes w/gravy and macaroni/cheese with a slice of cheese pie! Oh my, so good! The only problem is I had to go back to work and I was ready for a nap! But damn guys if you're reading this you need to try this place!! You won't be disappointed!!!
After months of living close by, I finally decided to give this place a try. So glad I did! I ordered the catfish with macaroni and cheese and mashed potatoes as my sides. Everything was so tasty! My only complaint is that the roll was tiny. However, given the very reasonable prices, I can live with a small roll. The service was also great! They seem to run very efficiently. So glad to know there’s a good meat n 3 in my neighborhood!
Never seen this place but glad I was told about it. The pork chop, Mac, and the hot water cornbread is delicious. Will be back to try the other options. Will update!
