Plenty of free pop parking. Handicap accessible. Outdoor and indoor seating. Bar, booth and table seating. We were greeted right away and seated. The atmosphere is good for a strip mall location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Chips and salsa arrived first. The salsa was a bit bland. We asked if there was something more spicy and our server provided a green salsa that had plenty of heat. The margaritas were good and come in two sizes 12 & 18oz). The entrees were good. We had chicken fajitas and enchiladas supreme. Priced fairly. Overall a good experience.

Really good accurate fast service. What I ordered (Huevos con Chorizo) was not on par to other places but other dishes seemed to be good. Had a very enjoyable time together with family. They do a great job celebrating your birthday 🎂

I’ve eaten at El Agavero about 10 times in the past 2 and a half weeks. There salsa is really fresh. The servers are very attentive, they get you chips and salsa less than a minute from when you sit down. And their food quality is high. Their prices are also very reasonable and under what most chains like chilis or Cracker Barrel would charge. Their lunch menu has options of around 7 dollars

Love this place! You can get a quick and cheap lunch or have a great dinner. The staff is attentive and has a sense of urgency. Have a group that wants some drinks? Perfect choice! Clean restaurant and a good atmosphere.

This is one of our offices go-to places for lunch. Consistently good food. Great service, servers are quick to greet you, chips and salsa as soon as you sit down, quick service, and drinks are never empty. It's just a great place to go. If you're in Bellevue, area you need to try El Agavero.

This place is one of the only Mexican restaurants that has stayed on this side of Hwy 70. It's good, it's quick, it's cheap, and the salsa is fresh! They have chips at your table before you've even settled in and they usually always have 2 for 1 margaritas. The only reason I wouldn't give five stars is because they get busy and packed quick, and it seems like they're never staffed enough to handle the rush. It's happened several times during this, our server will get switched and then our food/drink order will get lost. Other than that this place is great. Definitely worth a try!

This place is really yummy. The service is awesome too. I always get the tacos and the steak is fresh and always has the right texture. <Not chewy. Cooked very well. The servers are on top of their game every time as well. Salsa is a restraunt style and not pasty or thick .

The best Mexican place in Nashville and for sure on the west side of town. Great tasting food every time we come. Very Friendly staff as well. Today I got the grilled shrimp , over rice , white cheese and ALSO with slices of Avocados! Nice touch was the Avocados:-) I would say 8-10 large perfectly grilled shrimp cooked over a nice bed of rice. Much larger shrimp then what you would normally get at a Mexican restaurant and about $13 for a good plate of food. Right inline with what you would expect to pay just well above average food. So super pleased. I got a similar item last time and loved it as well. Gluten free my wife had the same order I had today, and she loved it :-) We will return for more!

(edit - 05/05/2023) El Agavero is still the best Mexican food in Bellevue. This original review was from the first time we visited, which was Cinco de Mayo several years ago. Still good, still the best service and drink prices, always a good choice after a long day. (Original Review) I had my doubts about this place for a while (I have a theory about restaurants in strip malls) but I am glad I was proven wrong. First and foremost they have Pacifico ON TAP, as in the big 32oz ones, along with several other Mexican beers. We have been here once before but tonight was exceptional since it was Cinco de Mayo and everyone in Bellevue was there. The seemingly overwhelming crowd was no match for the waiting staff. They handled everything professionally - screaming, running kids, a birthday, and large tables. We had our drinks and meal in record time. Fajitas for two were amazing, cheese dip-good, and the salsa has a little kick to it. We have found our new favorite Mexican place.
