Decided to eat here while on a business trip, this is some of the best sushi we've ever had. The miso soup and fried calamari were also delicious. We had God's kitchen, ultimate albacore and the play boy. It's also super reasonable compared to what we pay at home. Try it!
Great lunchtime sushi spot. I take my kids there often as the lunch combo allows them to get 3-4 things. The plain rolls are good, but the premium rolls like the Aloha roll, are very good. Parking is a little annoying as the lot is around back. We lucked into a metered street spot the last time...but that had NEVER happened before!
I wanted Sushi today for lunch since I am racing in a Triathlon tomorrow morning. It was a short walk from the hotel and the place is very inviting. Staff is friendly in the food is good. By the way I noticed the metal Chopsticks so that means they think about the environment too.
Really delicious!! My husband and I ate an early dinner here. Everything I tasted was absolutely fantastic! The spring rolls are yummy! Very nice staff, helpful giving direction on the menu choices. Reasonably priced sushi, clean bathrooms.
I ordered the Big Easy and the Futomaki rolls and I was very happy with the food! It was not very busy when I went, and the servers were very attentive. I also think that their sake menu has a good variety of offerings :)
Yummy! We ate pretty good - got the Gyoza, Spring Rolls (dip is just a tad too orangey), Korean Beef with fried rice and Tennessee rolls. Got there early and had the whole place to ourselves. Will definitely come back.
Best Japanese food in midtown area that I can find. The restaurant is clean, the sushi bar especially is clean. No fish smell. The service is really excellent but also very fun staff. Lots of choices for sake and of course they're up for sake bombs anytime. The tempora and fried rice was tasty, not greasy. Pretty steady infux of customers but no wait and not overcrowded or tripping over too tight tables. Will definitely be back.
I have had some wonderful sushi in my life. I first tried it in my late twenties, and have since tried to catch up with my fellow sushi consumers, and boy, I sure have put the work in, so to speak. I have had absolutely garbage gas station sushi, mediocre supermarket sushi (and surprisingly competent fare as well), and all manner of class of sushi. Ranging from average to clearly high quality sushi, my taste for sushi has been tested and refined time and time again. I never thought I would find an absolutely magnificent sushi restaurant in the middle of Nashville Tennessee, but here we are. You owe it to yourself to experience what this place has to offer. I was absolutely stunned upon experiencing it for the first time, and upon further contemplation I am in the exact same state of mind as I was before.
You must try this restaurant if you have an inkling of passion for culinary excellence. You must try this restaurant period.
Nice, quiet place. My server was friendly and attentive, and the food was fresh and light, just what I was in the mood for. Portion sizes were good. More than one staff member greeted me in a friendly manner. The restaurant was clean, with comfortable decor. Bathroom doors needed some maintenance. Overall, I would go there again because the food was delicious!
Great sushi! Awesome wait staff!
Waitress was running the whole place by herself, including answering the phone and taking all the to go orders!
She has the patience of a monk, not freaking out when the sushi chef incessantly ringed the bell when orders were up, lol!
(Maybe it's her dad, but she wasn't flustered one bit, just calmly said "I'll be there in a second")
Definitely going again!
