Waffle House

The waitress was very nice. The coffee was a little on the weak side but I made the most of the experience. My daughters said the hashbrowns were a little undercooked, we like ours with a golden brown color not pale. But, overall it was nice and enjoyable. Unlike, the WH on Elm Hill Pk, just a disappointment every time.

We loved this diner. The food was exactly what you would expect for a classic diner. They know exactly what they are making and they do a good job of it, nothing unexpected in any way. What was unexpected was how good the staff were at this location. Within moments of walking in you are seated with a smile and your order is taken. The staff are friendly with the customers, and clearly friendly with each other too. This meant that the whole diner had a great feel/vibe that just made each visit pleasant. Very good prices as well, which is a nice bonus. I wish I had noted the name of the waitress that looked after us on each of our 3 visits. She was really excellent.

Food was good. First time at this restaurant chain. We don't have them in California. I'd been wanting to try it. Waffle House is just that .. just waffles, and some egg/potato dishes. It was good though. We sat at the counter and could see everything going on. The cooking area was very messy, although the cook line was super quick. We ordered and had our food within just a few minutes. I had a waffle and a side of hash browns and liked it, it was pretty good.
