Have been here multiple times. Food has been hit or miss. Sometimes it tastes really good and other times bland. The buffalo chicken dip is so thick and flavorful. The Mac and cheese wasn't as flavorful or cheesy as I hoped. The turkey and avocado sandwich was very good. I have eaten the black bean burger twice - it was amazing the first time, then bland the second. The service is kind, but can be slow. The atmosphere is laid back and there is live music sometimes in the back room. I like the decor and multiple brew options. There are also board games to play if desired.
Very welcoming atmosphere. Good menu consists of elevated bar food. We had the BLT with avocado and meatloaf with mashed potatoes. Both were worth getting again. The star of the night was the apple crisp. They really are no words of describe how incredible it was. Seriously, if you go for no other reason for the apple crisp!!
We also loved the element of familiarity with those sitting around the bar. Everyone seem to know everyone. Very nice atmosphere.
I'm not sure why this place doesn't have a line waiting to get in. It's a little hidden but I definitely know how to get back there! The food is so much better than expected. Everything we have tried has been exceptionally good. The menu is creative with plenty of comfort food choices. I suggest coming hungry.
There is live music but it is cleverly on a far end so you still have quieter dining area. Seriously great food with a staff that seems to enjoy being there. This place is obviously a labor of love and not a same old, same old chain restaurant.
We occasionally come here for lunch. The beer selection is on point. The service is always fast and friendly. Sometimes the music is a bit loud if you're wanting to have conversations with friends and family. But, I like loud music so it doesn't bother me. That's why it gets a 4* on atmosphere .
This drink called sweater weather was 10 out of 10. I was afraid to try at first bc the ingredients didn't seem to go. The bartender, I believe her name was Christine, was AMAZING and soooo sweet. She encouraged me to try it....I think I had 5 LOL. Great experience!
We found this place by accident, and we're glad we did.
Enjoyable place to go and grab a beer and a bite to eat. Services great, food was really good, and they have a wide selection of beers and other drinks.
They have different things going on everyday, we went on a Thursday evening, which was trivia night. It ended up being a lot of fun interacting with all the other patrons in trivia.
Will definitely be back here again!
I only gave the 3 star on food because they don't really serve much that I care for, but this place would be good for a vegetarian! What I really love is the beer selection, the atmosphere, and the staff. This is a really cool hangout place to grab a sandwich a beer and chitchat for a while. I also like that they are gay friendly overall since there aren't a ton of places in Hermitage/Donelson like that.
Service here is always quick and reliable. Caesar salad is a solid choice. Buffalo Mac n Cheese had bacon crumbles on top... I must have skimmed right over that in the dish description , would have rather asked to hold the bacon. So many beer choices it takes a minute to read all of the chalkboard. Good place for big groups.

Great beer selection and served in real pint glasses. We stopped in for drinks and ordered the jalapeno poppers, which were excellent. Service was attentive and friendly. Will definitely visit again.
