We had tried to eat here a few months ago and the place was packed with an hour wait so we said next time. So we called on the way into town and they said no wait. We got there right at noon and there was only a few people there. Our waitress was very through with explaining the menu and how the all you can eat works and what you cook at the table and they cook for you. My son had the vegan pancakes and I had the buttermilk ones. They were very tasty. It was very fun cooking the pancakes at the table ourselves. The only thing bad about this vist was they didn't have any biscuits cooked and ready which I couldn't understand being at lunch time and not busy, I was craving biscuits and gravy. We will definitely go back next time in town.
Such a fun concept! The waitress was very aware of my friends vegan restrictions and went above and beyond with it. careful going on a hot day cause the grills make it 10x hotter! So fun though and would go again!
We had 4 adults in our group when we dined in. We all chose The Joey cooking combination. We cooked our own French toast, pancakes, and eggs on our table’s griddle. Though it was semi busy, our server took good care of us and we had a great first experience here. The french toast was juicy and delicious. The pancake batter and choice of toppings were ideal.
Best time of trip to Nashville. Such a fun concept and making your own food at a restaurant is an unexpectedly pleasurable activity when you’re with your friends. Would recommend for adults not kids.
Video popped up in our social media and it looked like a fun place to visit. We arrived around 8:30am and no wait for a table on a Tuesday. We ordered pancakes and fun experience at the table making them on the hot griddle built into the table. Kali was such a sweet server and took really good care of us. Overall, will be returning when we are back in town.
We were visiting from Alabama and looking for gluten free options. I had the French Toast and my husband had the GF pancakes. We both got the turkey sausage. The food was very tasty and our server, Ashley was very nice and checked on us often. It was interesting cooking our own food, but we did fine. The specialty coffee was not good. Mine and my husband's both tasted bad, so I can't recommend it. But the rest of the meal made up for it.
What a cool place. My wife and I went in not knowing the pfunky part: you cook your own pancakes at the table! Needless to say I was grinning from ear to ear throughout the whole time! And the food was very good! Only complaint was a lack of sausage links. Highly recommend you check this out!
And special thanks to David for his stellar service!
I had the Joey, which included all you can eat Pancakes or French toast. I had that with hashbrowns, bacon and a biscuit. I ordered a side of the gravy and it was delicious with the biscuit. There is a griddle in the middle of the table so you can cook your food except for the meat. It was a great experience for my family and I.
The first time I went here I thought Is this someone's house?" Well it probably was at one time but dont let that fool you. The fact that it was only adds to it charm. And what a clever idea that I cant believe hasn't (thankfully) been exploited by some chain restaurant. Each table has it's own griddle, they bring you the ingredients and you actually cook your own food! It's only breakfast foods so its pretty straightforward, no great cooking experience is required. And if you're a pancake fan get ready for all you can cook and eat! The French toast is more of a french loaf type bread as opposed to your typical bread which was alittle smaller than I was expecting, quite delicious indeed but I would have liked alittle bit larger portion. The server's have a great knowledge of the process and eagerly share it with you making you feel completely confident in preparing your meal. This is a great place to bring friends and family, aside from the good food it brings out conversation and just an overall good vibe. If you like breakfast, you will not be disappointed.
Cool place with a unique vibe and setup. The missus cooked her own eggs, hash browns, and sausage. The gluten-free toast was good. I just ordered biscuits and gravy. They were some of the best I have ever had and I have eaten a lot of biscuits and gravy.
