Very romantic and delicious. We had a reservation and were seated immediately and our sever, also named Jimmy, was very informative and really helped us decided on our meal! I highly recommend for a birthday/anniversary dinner or a holiday dinner party with work!

Steak was absolutely amazing. First time I didn't need steak sauce. Mushrooms not the best but not terrible. Service was perfect. Definitely wear long sleeves, it's very cold inside. Valet guy was really nice and prompt with our car.

Our server Claude was amazing. He was on point and made sure everything was taken care of. I got the Filet Mignon and it was amazing along with the baked potato which was delicious. The environment was open and everyone was enjoying their time. Great place and will be going back.

89 Years as a Nashville institution. Jimmy Kelly's gets it right. Corncakes before dinner followed by really good steaks. Salad and potatoes come with your steak. Sides for the table are delicious as well. Try the asparagus or creamed spinach. Usually too full for dessert but am tempted by the key lime pie.

This is a landmark experience. Well worth the money. Elegant interior with people around, but also feels private. Excellent cocktails. I eat very few steaks, and if I'm going to buy a steak, I prefer to get one at a high-end restaurant. My Filet Mignon did not disappoint. Perfectly done. Generous portion as well. It gave me two more meals as leftovers. Our server was incredible. Her demeanor fit the vibe of the restaurant perfectly. If you have a special occasion, or celebration, this is a great place to mark it.

4 and 1/2 stars maybe. The filet was amazing. The lobster tail so so, and my wife's blackened shrimp were the bomb. However we were seated upstairs in this tiny room with maybe 5, 2-4 top tables and our table leaned tremendously down hill. So much so that we had to prop our water glasses against the wall so they wouldn't fall over. Overall a pleasant experience though with old crooner music playing in the background, a genre of music in line with the 1930s grand opening of the oldest streak house in town.

Found this place as the local top steakhouse in Nashville. Referred by some of the local folks and wanted to go to a non chain restaurant. We made our reservations on open table which was simple and drove over. It's not something you would expect in the spot that it is in as it was so hidden at the end of the blocknoff the main street. I lived the cool old architecture inside and out. lots of tables and seems to be busy all the time. Excellent fine dining staff and very knowledgeable of the history and the Menu. The Menu was very limited but had all of the basic options other than steaks. I had the 8 oz Filet, which comes with a salad and baked potato. The steak was delicious, perfectly cooked, and nice flavor added the sautéed mushrooms and onions. Potato was just a potato, nothing exciting. The salad was not fresh made but seemed to be flat out of a chiller and pre-made. Something that comes right out. They have a signature corn meal mini pancake, which tasted like my silver dollar pancakes. Interesting signature item for a steak house. If you get to enjoy the area and want a good local place, this is it.

My first time, my friend's second time. What a treat! We ordered filets, baked potatoes, salads and creamed spinich, and every single bite was perfection! The spicy margarita was the best I've ever tasted! Karla provided wonderful service and was so much fun! Two other people checked in on us as well. One of the best meals and experiences at a restaurant I've ever had.

Got the crab cakes, and they were delicious. Generous portions. Had to take 1 home. My only complaint was my house salad. The tomatoes were bad. The server was fabulous and I wasn't disappointed with the sides.

Spent a late Saturday night dinner, and the food, atmosphere and service was incredible. The bootlegger ribeye was perfect, as was the pork chops on special.
