Review Wildhorse Saloon - Nashville

Steven Loveland
Large venue, loads of tables and space to move. Free line dancing lessons given which is a nice free bonus. Live music was very good. Food unfortunately was very generic like burgers and for me seemed very expensive. Good for a sit down and relaxing with some live music. I would imagine it gets very busy at night, but during the day it was moderate.

This place was amazing. Just a bit off Broadway, I found it doing an internet search. I’m so glad we checked it out. We went back 3 times in the 5 days we were in Nashville. Staff was very attentive, atmosphere was fun, and music was excellent. They offer free line dancing classes throughout the day is they were an absolute blast. Darcy and her staff were great at getting people involved. That dance floor was full! Wish I knew the name of the bartender at the back bar. She was so nice. Always checked in on us and had great drink suggestions. Looked to be in her mid-20s with hair above her shoulders. She was so great. Even the security guy checking IDs was great. He handled rude, entitled people beautifully.

Hung out here for a little over an hour tonight for dinner. The food is a little on the pricey side, but pretty tasty. The entertainment and atmosphere were top notch. I definitely recommend visiting. During the time we were there, they had 2 line dancing sessions, and one follow along on the dance floor while the talent performed. Haley Mae Campbell was the performer, and she was amazing! I can't wait for her to make it big!

The concert and bands (Motionless in white headliner)were Awesome BUT the company that handled/handles the crowd surfers y'all sucked they ended up dropping me on the barricades which in tune I ended up getting bruised up badly and almost got a concussion from it. Overall I regret NOTHING! Was my first time there. Thank you to the two guys who assisted me after checking up on me that are part of said crew.

The best! Great live entertainment, line dancing and when I say line dancing we are talking hundreds of people. Incredible! So much fun to watch.

I am a local who never goes here but my work association had a global conference in Nashville, and one night rented out the Wildhorse for a networking event. Was a really fun time! Great band, fun staff, they taught us some line dancing and really got everyone out of their chairs. Highly recommend for corporate events.

Came out for dinner on a Friday evening. Amazing place to enjoy the live music and have a drink. Ample dance floor where they teach line dancing in between band sets. The food was amazing but the steak fries were too salty for my taste. My steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the ribs were tasty as well. Come to the Wildhorse for a great Nashville nightlife experience.

Good vibe. We came here with our 2 year old and he enjoyed the live music. It was busy but not crowded. They do line dancing during the bands breaks. Tori was our server and she got our food our asap for our son, and came to the table immediately with waters and one in a kids cup for our son. Appreciated the thoughtfulness. Ask for Tori !!

Our insurance provider Canada life book the first floor for all Canadian MDRT , I was invited yo attend this event. The bar is spacious, band is good , teach us to dance. Salad and veggies are tasty. I didn’t try beef and chicken and drinks. Worthy to tryout here.

Horrible! Horrible service, horrible first experience going there! We went there last Sunday and my husband and I both thought the service was horrible! The waitress never came by our table and asked how the food was. My husband had An empty glass for a half hour that he gave up on getting refilled and just asked for the check instead! At which even that was a joke as we had to grab another waitress to find ours who obviously had no care in the world to serve. The food was nothing like they showed on the website. The french fries were a mix of what looked like frozen Orida french fries from your freezer mixed with curly fries. It made no sense for the kind of place this is supposed to be. Never again! For a place in the middle of downtown Nashville you would think it would be a lot better than it is. Heck my cracker barrel breakfast the next morning beat this place by miles.

Depends what you are looking for. Big place, and we were hoping to get some two step or couples dancing in, but the night we were there the place was overrun by high school students. At breaks they welcomed groups by high school, and four high schools were mentioned with lots of screaming teenagers yelling out to support their school. For the size of place that it is, the dance floor is relatively small. It was packed with kids. When adults did squeeze in, they was no restrictions for drinks on the dance floor, and the floor was a sticky mess. If you want to eat something, you have to squeeze up to the bar to order it. No one comes to your table to take drink or food orders. Pretty nice place in many respects, but greatly disappointing from a country dancer perspective.

Had great time at Wild Horse Saloon. We didn’t eat so we were not entitled to a table. We get that. Six of us found some seating on second floor from which to enjoy the band. Later that evening, after dinner hour and when crowd thinned, we got a table downstairs. Enjoyed two of the line dancing sessions even though the floor was very crowded! Our second band of the night, Adairs Run was excellent! Enjoyed their music and danced to many of their songs! Thanks Wild Horse for making us some memories!

Had lunch (four of us) and the music by Whisky Cash and Rose, was amazing. Watching the line dance lesson was fun for those of us to cowardly to participate. Loved the whole thing!! Burgers were great as well and loved the combination of fries were a wonderful surprise!

I thought it was kind of weird that we went up to the upper level and the bartender immediately tells me that bar was closing. A Saturday night and closing a bar at 9 PM? Spoke to manager who didn’t seem to care. Certainly won’t be high on my “return to bars” list when go back to Nashville.

Was told the wait was 45 mins. Ha. Waited 1.45 for the worst steak ever. Hostess was rude and could frankly give a flip. In spite of good music and nice environment I can not recommend.

Server was great but food was not - not what we were hoping - wouldn’t recommend it - security had no control of the many many children that should have been spoken to - thought it was more of an adult environment

Great place to go to hear live music especially if you have kids with you. Plenty of tables to sit at and Foosball and pool are free which helps keep the kids entertained.

We had a great experience last night. Our waitress (Genesis) was awesome. The food was great. Never had to wait on drinks. Two fantastic bands. I enjoyed watching young people learning to love country dance. Order the BBQ sandwich!! Yum

Food, service and music were all awesome! Brisket & Mac & cheese are delicious, waiter was very attentive and friendly, Barbara was so sweet helping out the ladies, line dance lessons were lots of fun, Two Way Crossing was phenomenal!! Will definitely be back next time in Nashville!!!

My employer recently booked the third floor for an event. It came complete with a private bar and buffet. The food and drinks were both excellent! The third floor also has two billiards tables, two Foosball tables, a shuffle board, and a magnetic over-sized scrabble board on the wall. There are tables and chairs overlooking the balcony so that you can see the entertainment. Everyone had such a good time. Everything about the night was very well done. I highly recommend it for your function.

We were there for a private party! It was VERY nice! Some of the best brisket I ever had. Great stage and band! Lots of room on the dance floor! Thanks for doing such a great job! Service was superb!
