Review City Winery Nashville - Nashville

Very nice venue! Easy free parking. No wait to get in and greet hospitality. One thing we enjoyed most was the great atmosphere and acoustics of this place. We saw Matisyahu and his performance was amazing. We did have a few different small plates and they were all pretty good. We will definitely be back.

If you want a nice evening out combined with great food and a great concert check out City Winery. There is no bad seat in the house and the staff are really friendly and helpful from finding your table to recommending drinks and menu items. Orders were promptly placed and hot food was delivered quickly along with cold drinks prior to the start of the show.

I enjoyed my experience with City Winery!! The host immediately greeted us. He answered any questions I had and seated us promptly. The waitress was patient, friendly and explained the table protocol while the show is ongoing. Any issues we had she promptly remedied the issue or offered suggestions. Kindred The Family Soul were excellent! Food was just as excellent. I plan to attend another event soon!

I remember when I went to see the Bangles at the City Winery in Nashville! This is one of the best venues I have ever been to! And trust me I've been to hundreds of them during the last 30 years! This Venue gives you an opportunity to have a more personal experience with the artists who are performing! The staff here are just absolutely amazing! The food is second to none by the way! But your concert experience will be unlike anything you've ever experienced in the past! That's why I'm headed back to see Emmylou Harris in concert at The City Winery Nashville tonight!

Killer shows at City Winery tonight. Heartbreaker (Pat Benatar tribute group) and Springsteen Celebration (tribute group). Venue was great, food was excellent, bands good and both had great shows. I had grilled shrimp and wagyu flank steak. My son had the wagyu sliders. It was fantastic. Service was excellent as well. Loved the whole experience, I'll definitely be back.

Venue was great, staff was friendly, wait staff was on top of everything. Amazing intimate show with a great performer Joey McIntyre was perfect. We drove from 25 miles west of Chattanooga to Nashville and we had an amazing time the Truffle Fries were so good.

Clean be venue with great concerts, delicious food, amazing wines & drinks. The hosts/hostesses were super nice and professional. Wait staff is nice as well. We kept delaying our waiter since we didn’t know what we wanted. By the time I knew, she was nowhere to be found. Another waiter came over and showed me where to order via web and that it’ll come right out. Cool! Only downside, my first order placed in house was not able to be totaled with the order I placed on the app.

I’m not sure if Beth Nielsen Chapman, Sarah Siskind and Julie Lee will do another show at the Nashville City Winery, but I’m so glad I didn’t miss this one. The service was great, food and drinks were superb. The sound was close to perfect (so important when you are going for Singer songwriters). Thank you NCW!

I attended the Barbie drag brunch. It was my first time attending an event at the winery. The show was fabulous and then some. Because of that. I will definitely attend a performance there again. I also plan to go for a wine tasting. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because of the food.

We had a great time again last night at City Winery. The Boxmasters, and Fran Moran and the Nervous Wrecks rocked! Super fun show from beginning to end. Not sure BBT "Bud" recognized me but it seemed so to me. 😉 Bring them back next tour! 👏 👏 👏

First time to attend the Nashville Improv- they were awesome!! Really enjoyed the show! They knew how to keep us rolling- highly recommend!! Our service was excellent, very attentive and helpful. Tapas style food was expensive but good.

Wish you all had a free parking lot that could cater to your venue. Paying to park or parking on the side streets is a deterrent at times for attending your events. Food was great. Wines selection was nice. Service was good. Miss the old menu but all in all I will be back.

Great food staff and service really cool place to see a concert. The Reverend Horton Heat was fantastic and like I said, the food was very good as well. We will be back.

Rolled in at 7pm on a monday to see grammy winner bobby sparks play the organ and man what a show! The hostess was more snarky than friendly but we didn't let it bother us. Upstairs waited for a bit to get the waitress and again the bartender swoops in and picks up our table. What's with these incredible Nashville bartenders? We had tried the cab franc which I highly recommend. It was dry and balanced a little sweeter on the back end but quite oaky and floral for a cab. It was a very intriguing glass of wine. We ordered the humus which was only so so, the kung pao cauliflower which was also just ok the flavor was there but just missing something its hard to explain here. You should try it and let me know what you thought. The Brussels were my favorite thing we ordered but if you like crispy Brussels you won't like these and if you have an aversion to dairy ask for no cheese. The staff was excellent and the show was amazing in the upstairs lounge area. All in all its a dynamic venue that feels intimate in the right places. The acoustics in the lounge were awesome. I recomend watching a show for date night and grabbing some wine or one of their awesome house cocktails. Nashville has so many better options for food I would skip the dinner here and save room for somewhere better. Drinks and service get 5 stars but only 3 for the food. ***Came back on a Thursday to check out the main room and a couple more dishes. The service was way better this time. We ordered duck quesadilla which was a bit cool, very small portion which we actually like. A bit overpriced at 19 but it is duck and you get what you pay for when it comes to meat quality these days. Also ordered the poke bowl now this dish was made very well you can sub the tuna for salmon or chicken. I subbed the chicken on the side and accidentaly stumbled into the best vegan/vegetarian dish on their menu so far. Unfortunately its still just good and food doesn't quite stack up to most of the amazing resturants in this city. We will try again maybe on a saturday night. They have a whiskey barrell aged cab and I highly recomend it. That was probably the best cab I have tried in this city. The band we saw was the verve, a legendary alt rock band that blew up in the 90s out of Michigan. City winery remains one of the best places to see amazing acts at a super reasonable price. We were in the main room this time and its something you need to experience. Most places do not have venue's like this one. The acoustics were awesome. The seating is intimate. The lighting was perfect. Great for a date night. Make this a stop during your visit.

Love going to City Winery in Nashville. Place is spacious inside and has large bar and eatery as you walk in and has large main stage space for big draw acts. Place looks and feels upscale and has great wine choices. Food menu is limited but you can find some tasty choices if you try. Sound system bumps loud when sitting next to stage so I always take ear plugs. Love this place.

I've never seen a bad show at the City Winery. The new menu is way better than the old menu. They do keep it extremely cold in the main stage room. Bring a jacket, parka or blanket, A light sweater it not enough. The table and chairs are really small and right on top of each other. Not much leg room unfortunately and I'm a small person.

Very nice venue, attended a comedy show here. Didn’t taste any of the available wines, however the overall service was great. 👍🏾

The venue was awesome, the food was good, and we weren't disappointed in the entertainment. It was a great evening out and we would recommend anyone to check out Tommy Howell's Residency at City Winery, or go see any show here, it's a great venue!

I was not feeling the Mother’s Day brunch today. For the price I went in expecting a drink, some fish, other meat entrees, and selection of sides but it was mostly breakfast items (and not even a belgium Waffle option). I’m not really a big breakfast eater so all I ate was a small salad and a slice of meat from carving station. I observed that the wait service wasn’t that helpful either. We hadn’t eaten there before and she didn’t really make us feel welcome or make our mother’s at the table feel special or explain the buffet. I noticed too that the food was running very low and at one point there were no plates and very little dessert. I had to alert the staff that they needed more plates when another woman on a cane asked me to hunt her down a plate. The plates near the buffet line were also too hot. I noticed that when I went to get my mother some more bacon. I was starving when I left and not satisfied at all. I don’t think I’ll be coming back here to eat again.

Had the Mother’s Day Brunch today and was extremely disappointed....Purchased our tickets 2 weeks ago in anticipation of giving our Mom a great experience.....Epic fail in both wait staff and food. When we arrived, they tried to separate our group in 2 tables, we requested a table for 10 2 weeks ago when we purchased tickets, was finally able to seat us together, but was out of 5 out of 8 dishes at the buffet, did not have some items that were listed in the menu for Mother’s Day brunch on line, what they did serve was just mediocre.....I hate to say it, but Shoneys breakfast buffet would have been better and I hate that place! Really not worth the charge for Brunch.....Sorry City Winery......And really sorry for my mom... Might be better for dinner, I don’t know, but after this experience probably will never go back

This is one of the nicest music venues in Nashville. Very good sound, a great atmosphere, delicious food and a very polite and helpful staff. I think I am done with Ticketmaster and their rip offs and scammy resales. I can actually enjoy myself, the music and the atmosphere without feeling as if I have just been pillaged!

Service was mediocre and the wine was okay. The food however was delicious especially the risotto balls, kale caesar and Brussels sprouts.

This was a fantastic venue. The Artimus Pyle Band was awesome. He is one of the most kindest and talented men ever! I was very impressed with my server, Patrick, he is the best! The acoustics are fabulous, food was great, service good! Can’t wait to visit again soon! Thanks guys! Awesome nite ❤️ Valet 👍

Love the atmosphere, music, food and wine. The server was excellent. Enjoyed listening to live music and young talent.

My friend and I attended the winery for a concert. The atmosphere was very lax! The food was very tasteful! My favorite raved is the Red Wine Chocolate Cake! It is a must try! The greeters, the food service staff, the chefs and the sound crew welcomed me to return.

Great music. Awesome staff loved the food and wine. Large portions... These are not small plates, order accordingly. Lol. But it all looked so good .... I went alone and everyone made me feel so comfortable and welcome.

I attended the Little Walter Show. It was excellent and the venue is great. My friend Cory Greenway played there and the sound was right on point! Neat place

Very cool atmosphere, great food, prompt & courteous staff. Music was awesome and not too overpowering at the ground level like some places. Overall awesome experience and we will be back.

I don’t give 1 stars unless you fail on soooo many levels. But was there last night for Joan Armatrading and service was just poor. Saw lots of ppl standing behind the bar but no one doing anything to get us our drinks. It was that way all night. Good thing the show was great.
