Good service in traditional surroundings in the basement of the Hermitage Hotel. We had a nice cheese and meat board, very good. There is an extensive list of whiskey and good selection of wines and beers. Check out the art deco Gentlemen's bathroom, very cool.

Best espresso martini around. Also, food was delicious. Can't go wrong with whatever you order.

Great bar in the basement of the hotel. Outstanding drinks and welcoming decor. Really feel like you could be hanging out in your classy friend's basement.

I've always enjoyed going to the Oak Bar before seeing the Predators play at Bridgestone Arena. Each time I've had really great service from the bar staff. Recently the service has been amazing and the drinks are top shelf and this is because of the bartender, Elizabeth. Even when the bar is packed with people, she manages to get your order and serve you within minutes of being there. And if it wasn't for her, I would of never ate any of the food or found these amazing Sliders that I can't believe I never tried before. I'll be moving my events from work to the Hermitage Hotel because of the service from Elizabeth and the bar staff.

Nice bar on the lowest level of the Hermitage Hotel. The bathrooms are the coolest thing! Restored to period correct status, they're mint green and black. Worth coming here just to see them (yes, I know that's odd... But trust me)

This place is amazing - located in the heart of a historical old building that is rich with stories and crafted like a palace - the Oak Bar serves delicious food and my friends really enjoyed the drinks they ordered. I had water but for food I had fried green tomatoes, a salad, and my favorite - sweet potato tots. Would recommend. The price point is a little high but their happy hour prices look quite agreeable.

As my husband put it, "this is the bar you bring a rich business man to to get him drunk enough to make the deal with him." This is a very nice bar with very pretty woodwork everywhere. The appetizers are yummy, and their selection of alcohol is top notch. They are a bit pricey, but they were a perfect stop for us after a TPAC show.

The Oak Bar has excellent drinks, and a very cool vibe. Took the wife here and we had some great libations, her's made with absinthe, and the rest of the night was interesting! Very cool ambiance, and "prohibition" feel of the 20s-30s. Neat Men's restroom also. The service... could have been better. I felt like my wife and I were just in the way the whole time. We were definitely served, but I almost wondered if the bartender wasn't excited to have the bar space back after we left. Overall, decent experience. We would go back for the drinks/food/atmosphere.

I frequently drop by the Oak Bar at the Hermitage Hotel prior to going to an event in Nashville and recently I stopped by before a Predator game to grab a quick drink. I was amazed at how crowded the Oak Bar was, and I found out it was due to the Predators and TPAC. But even though it was absolutely slammed the bartender Elizabeth was absolutely wonderful. It's because of her that I had a phenomenal drink (so good and made to perfection) and had a great time. I understand having to wait because of how crowded a place is - I get it, I've worked in the food industry but I didn't wait more than half a minute before she asked me for my order. I don't know how Elizabeth does what she does but seeing someone multi-task 300 different things is a sight to see and she does it in stride. Because of her, I'll be back every time I'm up in Nashville. Phenomenal service.

This place used to be a men's club and their original bathroom from the same as it looked from the 30s. It was voted the best bathroom in the US and featured in several music videos. For a fancy drink, check out the oak bar. Super tasty beverages.

The bar is great but don't just go for a drink. The entire hotel is a work of art. Sit in the massive lobby for a few minutes and try to take it all in, there is so much to look at. Oh and be sure to visit the men's room outside of the Oak Bar (Yes even the ladies can go in). Trying to describe it will do nothing for you it is a must see.

Great bar selection.Friendly staff. Historic setting.

A gorgeous hotel. Friendly bar staff at the Oak with a good pour. Have to check out the mens restroom. Original to the 1930's construction. I'd post a pic but that would ruin it. Females welcome.

Perfect spot for a quiet drink. Over 100 great whiskeys....the 'ramblin man' was the best whiskey cocktail I have ever had and the oyster Rockefeller was amazing. Friendly and attentive bartenders.

Great little bar! My only reservation is that this place may be a little hectic after any shows or games get out around downtown. Other than that, once the crowds die down, this is a lovely bar to relax and have a drink.

Sophisticated atmosphere with historical charm, impressive food and drink menu. The kind of place that makes you feel fancy, and wish you had dressed accordingly.
