The service was excellent and the place has a really cool industrial vibe. One cool element is that they serve “skinny” margaritas which is somewhat uncommon at restaurants. The food was really good, too. If they are looking to improve one thing—-it would be to not charge for chips and salsa. That’s always a downer simply bc when you go to most Mexican restaurants, that is something you don’t have to pay for. The gourmet tacos are also really good.

I’ve been enjoying Taco Mamacita for awhile, but yesterday was the first time I’ve been able to dine here at their new location.
The food was wonderful as always! I tried the (new to me) Fried Avocado, Cauliflower and Chorizo-Potato Taco’s. They were delicious! My fave was the Cauliflower! Amazing.
Like the new atmosphere. It’s brighter, a bit more open and a lot less noisy. The service was top notch, with several folks taking care of us quickly and with a friendly smile.

Best “non-authentic” tacos I’ve had in quite some time. Service at the bar was great, they were super friendly and attentive while clearly being very busy. Drink was perfect, tacos were great, can’t ask for much else!

Yum! Great atmosphere and excellent service from Janet. The food was very good. We started with the chips and salsa in order to do taste three of their “made in house” salsas. Each was delicious! We ordered tacos and were very pleased. My favorite was the Sloppy Jose Taco. Great twist on a classic.

Service and food were excellent!! I am a huge Mexican fan and this restaurant was top-notch! Guacamole was to die for!!
Loved the difference in nachos, our waitress went above and beyond as well.

Lunch at Taco Mamacita was fantastic! The bar tender was so friendly and helpful too. I ordered a mix and match 3 taco plate and loved all of them. The atmosphere has a super fun vibe. I’d highly recommend this place!

Strolled in on a thursday night to check this place out. We have had many a jalapeno avocado margarita(frozen!) before but this would be the first time eating there. I gotta say I was impressed with the service at the bar and the attentiveness of the management team. I was a little particular with some of my requests and they bent over backwards to accommodate everything I asked for. Now for the bitter truth. The food here is just so so. The salsa verde was poorly blended and the flavor a bit bland. I tried the diablo as well and it was truly dissapointing. The gyro meat was quite dry but the flavor was there. I got the nachos sub lettuce for chips and they slapped and were perfect for a guy coming off a fast. All in all its tex mex done so so b8t where this place truly shines is the creative cocktails centered around agave. A chill hang, a lesser bartaco. If there isn't a bartaco close by this is solid. Germantown needed a decent mexican place. If you are visiting there are better mexican/latin places like calacas, bartaco, oscars taco shop. For the locals this is a solid hang especially at the out door patio bar with your pup. Plus you can grab a shot of fernett next door at mothers ruin when you're done eating.

I ordered the Peruvian Roasted Chicken and it was amazing. The dipping sauces it came with were so good. The queso and guac are both great, as well. If you like street corn, theirs is some of my favorite! The service was excellent. And, it's such a cute spot. Definitely will be back!

Food is good but not like at the old location or how it is in Chattanooga. It has more variety and therefore less tacos. Tacos are good but I feel like the ones served at the old location were better. And glass of spirits are too pricy to even consider..... especially when you know how much the markup actually is compared to liquor store and they don't pay nearly that much. I may be back but with how much further it is it I'm not so sure. Best of luck and if your used to the old location, expect familiar foods but it to be different....and still taste great.

This place was wonderful. I had been exploring Nashville all day while my husband was working and came across this spot. I had guac and chips and the fried plantains. Both were really yummy.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Issac the greeter helped walking me to my table. When we left he helped by walking me down the steps and across the street to my car. He told us he was raised to respect from his mother. Blessings to him and his mother. I shall return soon to this place.

Great find. Excellent tacos, nachos and margaritas. Food has a Nashville twist with Sloppy Joe flavor to ground beef. Korean bbq and jerked chicken tacos were awesome. Fabulous margs and local brewed beer. Comfortable, casual and friendly staff

Service was great.
Nice place. Finally a place with great drinks at a reasonable price.
I ordered the Peruvian Chicken as the rotisserie story all made it sound very good, but I would bet my paycheck that it was deep fried prior to serving it. It was all dark and greasy and crispy, like a fried chicken, not like rotisserie chicken. I would not have ordered fried chicken.
Maybe would try tacos if I return.

Cute little spot. A little pricey but the portions are big. I got the shrimp fajitas and they were delicious. Their queso dip is also incredible!!!
Our server was awesome and very attentive. Will be back!

I love the Taco Mamacita experience! Killer salsas, REALLY awesome soups, and one of the friendliest staffs in town. Hard to beat $6 fresh squeezed margs on Wednesday too. Laughing at some of the other comments below. Obviously not an authentic Mexican restaurant, more fresh-mex, but I think that’s super clear from simply looking around or just reading what’s on the menu. I eat here regularly.

This is a good taco place. For the price, I think it’s OK, but there are cheaper and better taco places in Nashville. You do pay for the ambience for sure. The chips and guac was good. Fresh tasting, and the chips were thicker than normal tortilla chips so they didn’t break as easily. Their Baja fish taco was tasty and light, but the star for me was the Korean bbq taco. Exactly what I expected and was great. It could’ve used a bit more sauce, but still really tasty. I wish the tacos themselves were a bit bigger!
Overall a good experience, but I do suggest exploring other options in Nashville if you are looking for good tacos for a better price.

Randomly stopped here while passing through. Great tacos and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.

The food was delicious! There are so many types of tacos and it was hard to stop finishing my food. I got the Taco Royale, the Hot Chicken & the Shrimp Po'Boy BLT. I will definitely come back.

Visited this place two nights ago and will definitely come when we come back to Nashville. It was recommended by someone who lives here and everything was excellent. Our server William was top notch with his hospitality skills (especially with the picky eater in our party). The food was excellent and atmosphere very humble and personable. Really am very pleased with this dining experience.

I asked my sister to recommend a Mexican style restaurant in Nashville, we live in West Tennessee. She recommended Mamacita’s. Service, food and drink the best. Peruvian chicken the best chicken I have ever had. We will be back!
Blair Bryan
We absolutely love it!! The service is amazing!! The ingredients are always fresh. The tacos are awesome, but so is everything we've had. It's definitely worth the hour and 20 minute drive. I highly recommend this amazing place to everyone!!!

Very very yummy. Everything tasted super fresh and service was great. Our server had a lot on his plate, he was also the bartender and had a 15 top party next to us and was amazing. I can’t remember his name but he had a bandana wrapped in his hair and was working the night of 12/12/17. He was great.

Love, love , love this place! Anytime we are going downtown we always try to make plans to eat here. Taco royale and Mexican street corn are the best! The staff is great and always friendly. I love the sangria and margaritas.
Rose Marlow McCoin
I was able to eat totally gluten free! Our waitress was so helpful in picking the right foods to eat! I would absolutely recommend this to anyone with celiac!

Our first time here as we visited Nashville but we will be back. I LOVE the Chicken Tortilla Soup! And the Avocado Taco from the Vegan menu was exceptional!! We also had the some excellent “sloppy joe nachos” as an appetizer that were to die for. You can’t go wrong with anything at this place.

I absolutely loved this place! Amazing service, and the food was killer ! highly recommend

I cannot say enough good things about this place. I came two times in one week. Once with a large group and once by my lonesome. I was treated with respect both times by all staff members. The food is super tasty and the drinks are spot on. The next time I am in Nashville I will most assuredly be back!!!
Bill Catenacci
Had the Peruvian chicken and it was fantastic, I highly recommend giving this place a try.
Brad Arthur
Great food and exceptional service !!! Choices are great and the waitress did a great job of explaining all of the tacos. The Philly cheesesteak taco was on believable!
Daphne Spell
Went with friends for a evening meal. The service was great, wait time was half of what they told us. We sat outside, the beer was cold and the food was outstanding!!! I just moved to Nashville and this is within walking distance to my apartment. I will definitely be a regular !!

It was Nashville Hot Chicken Week so we ordered the $5 Hot Chicken Taco - more than a disappointed on this one. Almost no hot chicken in the taco but was full with the slaw and pickles on top. You'd think that would be stuffed with chicken considering there was a contest going along with it.....
Everything else we ordered: $4 Bloody Mary tasted as good as a $4 Bloody Mary would. tortilla soup-THE BOMB. Shrimp PO Boy BLT-I'd eat an entire player of these! Oy Vey-still talking about it 24 hours later. Taco Royale-huge taco full of yummy goodness.
Lauren, our waitress was so nice and sweet, wasn't over bearing, gave us the right amount of attention. I'll go back to check out the other tacos and sides, only disappointment was the Hot chicken Taco.
Jen Harley
This place is like my Cheers... I love coming here. The food, drinks and service are always top notch!

To start off with, this was our 1st visit to this establishment. We sat outside on the patio and while we were the only ones out there they sat us right in the sun. We moved ourselves to the shade and in front of a fan.
Now: the salsa and chips were phenomenal the best salsa I have ever eaten.
Main Course Dinner: TERRIBLE not edible very bland. We were very disappointed.
The price: Affordable prices for any budget. Guess you get what you pay for.
Overall: terrible will not return
