Best brisket in the area. The hot links with pimento cheese was incredible. The burnt ends and grits were definitely delicious. Not to mention the staff at the bar both visits were incredible. Friendly and helpful. Give this location a chance. We were pleasantly surprised at how incredible everything was.

Delicious! Great atmosphere! Cool interior dining. The food was outstanding! Ribs were juicy, well flavored and slid right off the bones. The sides were so tasty: cornbread, Mac & cheese, grits and banana pudding. Can’t say enough positive things about this place! Hurry up and get there!

Amazing place and delicious food! They have a covered outdoor area which is pet friendly. From the moment we arrived till the very end they treated me and my husband so nicely. The gentleman in the front came outside to greet us and tell us that our dog was welcome on the patio, he gave our pup some love and even brought him water to our table! Where they do that at!? The brisket platter was delicious, I also recommend the ribs. Don’t skip this place! It was amazing!

Fairly good bbq and sides, I wish the cornbread was better though, ours was a bit hard. I’d recommend the Mac n cheese over that. It’s nice they have catfish options too!

Awesome food and Excellent service, Thanks Mike! Learned what a Bushwhacker is too..I highly recommend the Dry rub wings and Brisket and of course Happy Hour 😀 We will definitely be back to try the Catfish!

Brisket and Nashville Hot Chicken platters are excellent! Brisket is smoky and full of flavor. Hot Chicken has a jalapeño ranch sauce that is SPICY, and delicious. All the sides are amaz-zazing. We had green beans, baked beans, grits casserole and collard greens. Most have spice.

Fantastic BBQ meat and sides! I especially liked the brisket, smoked turkey, and the banana pudding. I recommend the platter for 3-4, but it feeds more like 6-8.

Service was keeping me from giving 5 stars my first time, but the two girls made my 4th of july lunch a blast. The food was great. I tried the smoked wings, and they are coming in 3rd in Nashville so far behind smokin' thighs, martins, and right in front of Nobles. The jury is still out on Party Fowl(5th?). I came back to try the walking sauce as they were out when I arrived the first time. It does the heat fix trick, and it's not super unbearable like the poultergeist sauce at party fowl. The atmosphere is dope it feels like an open-air saloon and has all the country vibes a nashville spot should. I def recommend this place to tourists and locals alike. Tried the hot chicken tenders!! Let me tell you, they brine them in pickeld jalapeno juice for hours begore they are breaded for the fryer and it shows. Edley's is beloved in this town for a reason, and now I know why. They smoke the competition.

Magnificent! I have always loved the barbecue fries (which is a meal by itself) and the bushwhacked drink, but now even better because they have more than just one to choose from. The barbecue fries are a trademark and I suggest the pork. The next time I will have to try the catfish tacos because it's new to me. The staff is great too. They moved a block or so further up woodland street and worth it too because of more space... but still extremely busy as always and would suggest you get there early.

Food was just ok. Meat was definitely cooked well. Brisket was cooked great. The bbq sauce is a vinegar base- that would have been helpful to know before hand. And maybe I missed that somewhere. Cornbread was dry. Pork sandwich was just ok. Mac n cheese is lacking some flavor. Overall was just ok. Passing through town on road trip and went off reviews to find good bbq. Kinda bummed but I am also a good cook so makes it hard to find good food elsewhere. Atmosphere and staff were lovely.

Texas girl here: my husband LOVES bbq and as soon as we landed, we decided to come here for lunch.
The service was great, hospitality, great, and the food is delicious! I love that they have two options of bbq sauce to choose from- one has a nice kick to it, which was my fav!
The fried pickles are also so good. I’m very pleased with the barbecue here!

Edley's was the best bbq we had on our visit. We were staying downtown and a local gave me the recommendation to take an Uber across the river and visit Edley's.
Thanks Walt!! This was a great choice. $8 cab each way and we got more bbq and better bbq and was still a better value then eating in downtown.
We were all in the mood for pork and were rewarded with a heaping serving on our sandwich. The Mac and cheese was super cheesy. I loved the green beans. My wife didn't prefer them, but I thought they were perfect.
The surprise of the night was banana pudding was a side. And that was some of the best we have had. If you like it do not skip this for one of your sides it will tickle your tastes buds.

Food takes a while when they get busy but it's worth the wait. Pulled pork and brisket were excellent. The Mac and cheese was good but I've had better. I don't think it's worth the upcharge. Cornbread was good but note that it has peppers in it. Not bad but I prefer sweet cornbread. I really like their sauce - mild and a little sweet.

Very good. Fried green tomatoes were a hit. Nachos with pulled pork were amazing on their homemade potato chips, the bushwhacker was fantastic and the bitter goat was out of this world!

The new East location is beautiful. Food is consistently delicious. I always know I'm going to like my meal, and it's going to taste the same as the last time I ordered. I'm happy to support a great local business. The pulled chicken sandwich with red & white bbq sauce, pickles & plug of coleslaw is always delicious. Thr Mac & cheese is great. The banana pudding is the best I've had.

This was easily the best BBQ I've ever had. It's not even close. I went here twice in the 3 days I was in Nashville. The burnt ends are super flavorful and beyond tender. The wings are crispy even when they're coated in sauce. But the best thing is that freaking banana pudding. Oh my God. Send me gallons of that pudding.

Straight up delicious barbecue. I highly recommend the ribs, mac 'n' cheese and potato salad. I found the prices very reasonable--a rib platter was about 15 dollars. The amount of meat I got would have easily cost me about 30 in DC (where I'm from). The location is rustic and the hospitality can't be beat.

Great atmosphere great menu! They get very creative with bbq outside of getting your traditional plates (but they have those as well) wings are smoked then fried to order, brisket tacos are a burst of flavor, rib sanwhich was the special and that had insane flavor... all around great experience with the brick and morter and great experience with the catering tent where I was introduced to the tacos from the girls working the tent at Live On The Green.. thanks! Alot of local restaurants slack because of the tourism business, Im glad to see at your second location (East Nashville) still had the vibe as the 1st yall opened on 12th

My husband had eaten at Edley's for lunch in the past and raved about how good it was. I, being a sucker for good bbq, had him bring me here for date night. There were two empty seats at the bar so we decided to sit there. I could immediately see that the bartender was super busy, but he was fantastic the entire time we were there. We initially ordered drinks and fried pickles (the best I've had in a long time!!), chatted, and enjoyed the atmosphere. Then we ordered dinner after studying the menu for a while. Oh. My. Goodness... I don't think I want to eat bbq from anywhere else ever again. The pork tacos were to die for and the cornbread was delicious. Hubby wanted me to try his baked beans and mac-n-chz "because they are so good" but I naturally had to save room for banana pudding. We will definitely be back!��

Got the rib platter was good it was a little tough mac and cheese so so baked beans and corn bread were great disappointed I wanted the brisket the waiter said they run out about 3:30 seems a little early not to have any for dinner

A group of friends came from Ohio and we stopped in last night for Dinner. Wow what a great experience. The food was amazing and Michelle...with 2 L’s was the best! Explained everything to us when ordering and stopped by the table to ask how it was. Great customer service! The Ohio group gives Edleys and Michelle...��!! Highly recommend this place.

I called and asked in person with the cashier if the brisket or potato salad has pork/bacon/lard and was told no. Take a bite into the potato salad and chew into a bacon bit camouflaged within the red skin potatoes! I impressed the importance of no pork (or so I thought) on my meal and evidentally, the ineptitude of all involved in Nashville is high! You want real brisket? Avoid this shithole and come to Texas ���

We were there yesterday before the titans game, and it was pack , I mean you could barely walk , we went to the bar to get drinks wich we got fast and friendly , we stood on line to order and the line move super fast , the lady at the register was super nice and helpful , I order brisket tacos , omg they are to die for , and their bana pudding is amazing , we love this place and we will be back

Out of towner here! We thought it was delicious, reasonably priced and thought it was cool how they had it where you order at he counter and then they brought it out to your table! Much faster as we were really hungry!! Their bbq sauce had a little kick to it I loved it! Staff was super friendly as well! Only thing I would change was that We went around 3 pm and i really wanted ribs but they didn’t serve them until dinner service af 4:30.

Lunch was amazing!!! And the friendliest staff. I Had their salad with smoked chicken and it was to die for. I’m from North Carolina so barbecues not something I don’t see a lot of. I usually try to eat a salad for lunch and I have been so disappointed at other places. The mix greens and vegetables were tremendous in the jalapeño ranch was to outstanding!!!

Went for brunch and it was amazing! The smell when I walked in told me I was a true BBQ place. The breakfast tacos were perfect and the bartender, although a Steelers fan, was great. Joking...but I would definitely go back.
