Great breakfast/brunch spot in the middle of downtown Nashville. Awesome food and decor.
It’s small so it can be hard to get a seat. But worth the effort.
Best breakfast I’ve ever had my life great should highly recommend this to anybody that ever decide to go for a breakfast or lunch. The atmosphere was awesome
What a great place! Cool diner with bar seating (all stools with no backs, so could be uncomfortable for some). There are 3-4 sections with a server per section. The menu has standard southern comfort food.
There are photos on the walls of Sun Studio artists so it's a nice Music City vibe.
What a great place! Tucked away on 3rd Ave next to Luke’s place. Ambiance was awesome - Memorabilia adorned the walls. Stand along the wall to wait for an open spot. Stool seating around wood tables. (Two booths in the back.). We went on a Friday morning and waited maybe 5 minutes.
Food was excellent - Million Dollar Breakfast was great amount of food. Get the sausage - so good.
Belgian waffle - large enough for two! And the peanut drizzle .. so good.
Servers were fantastic. Hustling, taking care of every need and attentive.
A definite must when you’re in Nashville.
A must go-to when you're in Nashville! The atmosphere is so chill but yet lively. The sense of community is super cool and of course the food...awesome! The staff is always friendly and speedy but never rushy! Can't wait to be back!
We loved this place it’s corn as you are are the seats are sit where u can ! When u ask for crispy bacon they actually do it ! The food is amazing and the staff is great ! They know how to keep it moving & are friendly . The atmosphere is great and coffee tastes good . If you like down home breakfast buiscuits & all ! Come here !
I’m a little pissed I had this because now I have to go back to Massachusetts and think about it for the rest of my life. The absolute best French toast I ever had. The home fries were nuts and even the toast was thick and fluffy. We had the greatest waitress, she was so sweet and the atmosphere was great. Hope I can make it back!
Five stars all around! Went here for lunch during the Titans vs. Vols game and it was a pleasant experience with phenomenal food. Wait staff was extremely attentive. Due to the busy nature of the street, they won't seat you until all of your party is with you, but is completely understandable. Would be back again! The chicken fried steak was delicious and filling.
I was here visiting, and this was one of the last spots I ate at. I want to say it is worth it, from start to finish. The service was great! The seating is different, but I truly enjoyed it. The food was amazing definitely have to try the chicken and waffles. The French toast was out of this world. This is a must stop if you are just visiting.
Five. Stars. If I could give it more, I would!
My husband & I went there for breakfast right before we left Nashville on a Monday around brunch time. It was pretty busy even then, so do with that what you will regarding visiting on a weekend ;)
The waitress was very friendly, attentive, quick to assist. She helped me choose between two items & took off what I didn't want without giving me any fuss.
I got Elvis's PB&J (hold the peanuts), the hubs got Chicken & Waffles (their most popular). The food came super fast & fresh, and it was all absolutely fantastic! The C&W definitely earned the most popular stamp they were given because my husband won breakfast with his order... BUT the breakfast potatoes that came on the side with mine might be the best I've ever had.
Over all, this is 1000% going back on our list the next time we visit Nashville!!
Wow!! I was blown away with the food! It has great atmosphere with some great artwork and amazing food! Our waitress Mariana was awesome and so helpful with helping on deciding what to order couldn’t decide between a couple dishes! The place was packed but we got seating within 5 minutes. Definitely would recommend you try if your in the Nashville area.
Hands down the fluffiest biscuits outside of my grandmas (she’s a southern belle). The music takes you back as well as the decor. Super southern friendly service, never an empty coffee cup and a solid breakfast. Not fussy, just down right good.
Not part of a “chain” and not an impersonal restaurant, it’s nice and cozy. No tables here only bar counter seating in a zig zag to maximize the small space.
So, if you find yourself in Nashville and want to have a beer with your breakfast (no mimosas here), head over to Sun Diner.. you won’t regret it!
