OMG! One of the best steaks I have ever had! We started with escargot and the shrimp bisque - both were delicious. I had the bone-in filet, and my wife had the 6 oz bacon wrapped filet, and we split the garlic mashed potatoes - everything was superb. The Sticky Toffee Pudding dessert we split was the perfect ending to our meal.
And the service was outstanding, too - our waitress (Hillary) was really on top of things, and did a great job. Her sense of humor, recommendations, and attention to detail were all top notch. Great job!

One of the most delicious meals I’ve ever had and I’m not exaggerating. We had the lobster bisque, caesar salads, twice baked potato, Red Snapper special, and twin lobster tails. We finished off with the banana foster dessert for two. Every single bite was outstanding. We had Rebecca as our server and she was very informative and sweet. The wine was great, too! We came for the first time for our 6th year anniversary and will definitely be back. They even took our photo and printed it out for us in a card frame. Definitely a great experience!!
What a meal! Old school food executed impeccably. We came to celebrate two birthdays and everyone left happy. All the food was excellent but please don’t skip the crab cake or the bananas foster; both are special! Do also get a side of steak sauce: a unique, sweet umami bomb. Our waitress, Chrissy, was exactly what you want in a server: thoughtful, knowledgeable, guiding us in our ordering to ensure we all left satisfied. She was personable and fun, genuinely enhancing our celebratory mood.
I get that novelty gets you on “must eat” lists, but if I ever come to Nashville again, Sperry is where I’m eating!
Not surprised that this amazing steakhouse has been in business since 1974, just disappointed we didn’t find it sooner! Loved the warm atmosphere. They even had Halloween decorations. Everything on the salad bar was extremely fresh. Chopped steak, one of my personal favorites, was wrapped in bacon and one of the best I have ever had. Highly recommend and we will be back.
We love Sperrys for any occasion or just a good night out! The salad bar is always top notch, the featured entrees are always so special, steaks are perfectly cooked and service is above par! Tonight we had James as our server and he was phenomenal! Our meal was paced perfectly, he was two steps ahead of us at all times and so professional! Will be back for our next special occasion.
Our server Julie was perfect. The food was perfect. This was one of the best meals I've ever had, and I make it a point to try out some of the best restaurants in any city I travel to. I had the Filet Oskar and the Bananas Foster for dessert. Each time you take those first few bites of both meals, your body stops all other functions except for chewing and processing how flavorful and delicious the food is. The rest of my party shared similar sentiments, as well. All three meals and our server were nothing short of perfection. Kudos to the bartender for the well-balanced Vodka and Club Sodas that helped me wash down this meal, as well!
We dined at Sperry’s for our friend Daniel’s birthday. Lovely traditional steakhouse atmosphere and the food was fantastic for the price range. Molly, our server, was amazing, attentive, and charismatic. My favorite steakhouse in Nashville!
I don't think we've ever had crab cakes as good as Sperry's. Rib eye was cooked to perfection and the service was attentive. Overall exceptional experience.
We always love coming to Sperry's to enjoy good food, drinks, and over vibe. The service is ALWAYS top notch and we've never been disappointed with anything. This is our new favorite go-to spot for special occasions and just when we're in the mood for good steak in an not-so-stuffy atmosphere. We had mini lamp chops, ribeye's, brussels and fries. Everything was delicious. I tried their sticky pudding dessert for the first time and am IN LOVE!
My wife and I visited a couple weeks ago to celebrate our birthdays and we were not disappointed. Excellent ambience and food. Our sever Jonathan was fantastic. He was helpful with our appetizer and main course selections and very attentive to our table. One of the best dining experiences we’ve had. We will definitely return for another visit.
Great steaks sides and drinks. Our server, Brie, was personable, and professional. The atmosphere is a wonderful dark casual. I didnt need the salad bar, better to have a salad brought to the table as you have to navigate the whole restaurant, past the entrance, with an open plate of lettuce. Otherwise ingredients are fresh. Plenty of on site parking
We had a wonderful experience at Sperry's. Our server, Julia, was extremely accommodating and attentive, our food was wonderful, all the extra staff made us feel attended to from water refills, check-ins, photo, etc. Our food was also delicious and we enjoyed a complimentary dessert for our anniversary.
We will definitely be back and recommend to others!
