It was super hot outside and the line to get in the door was a 30 minute wait, BUT it was definitely worth it!! Hattie B's is a must have if you are in Nashville!! The chicken was amazing and that mac-n-cheese is like no other!
Was a little warm waiting in line, but once in the A/C I was good. Another 10 minutes in line to order and 10-15 minutes later my delicious chicken was there. Went with the "hot" chicken flavor and it was great. Nice bite on the hot and the Mac N Cheese were also flavorful. Drove over an hour to experience and glad I did!
The chicken is so delicious! I ordered the chicken sandwich (medium heat) and a side of pimento Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese had flavor and the chicken sandwich was really good! However the bun of my sandwich was a little bit cold. Also the pickle chips were good except that they were a little bit too salty. other than that this is the best restaurant I’ve been to so far in Nashville.
Baby when I tell you there is something magic about this chicken ! Now I see why they’ve opened up more than just Nashville ! The plump full chicken is so good & potatoe salad is bomb . The staff was extra friendly & fast . The location is nice and not in the middle a lot of tourist traffic
Super delicious hot chicken at this place! I came here at just the right time of day so there was no line. I ordered a half chicken with the “What the Cluck” on it and it was seriously solid. Also tried the Chicken Sandwich with a side of the pimento mac and cheese which was top tier yummy. The employees were friendly and helpful and the place was clean. Overall I’d highly recommend stopping by this place no matter what!
This might be the BEST hot chicken I’ve ever had! Hattie B’s is totally worth the hype! The chicken thighs were super juicy and flavorful, and the fried breading was very well seasoned. The spice levels also get very hot, so go for mild or no spice if you have a lower spice tolerance. The tenders are amazing as well! Can’t wait to go back.
There was a line forming at 11 am on a Tuesday morning, but the service was still very fast!
An institution. A flavor explosion in your mouth... a mouth that burns from the heat. A long wait. Worth it. Be patient, it will be the best chicken you've had.
Large dark HOT (don't get the damn hot or shut the cluck up unless you're really serious) + dirty bird + chicken tenders + waffles + beer + sweet tea. All under $60? What? Man I wish I lived here so I can eat this chicken all day.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hattie B's Hot Chicken in Nashville, Tennessee, and it was an unforgettable experience!

Be prepared for lines and a long wait, but it’s worth it. Chicken is perfectly seasoned and so juicy. We had the large white which was a big portion for 2 people. We also had a fried chicken burger which was so good. We tried the mild and medium spice levels and both were manageable. For sides we ordered drinks fries- delicious, Mac and cheese which was also well flavoured, the grits I loved and some coleslaw which was good.
I’d definitely come here again and highly recommend.
It's definitely a place to visit when you are in Nashville. However, don't touch anything when you are at the restaurant, just ask the waiter (they are nice, until...). In case you you didn't get plastic ware, didn't see a sign or no one attended to you, still don't touch anything. If you do and they see it, they go from 0-100 in a second and get loud. But the food was good and mild would be a good one to taste and enjoy the chicken. Trust me, the spicy will definitely numb your mouth and you will remember and will be reminded for days😂
I'm always quite skeptical about hyped chicken spots but I have to say it was legit. Super juicy tender fried chicken, what more do you need!?
I ordered tenders that were "hot" while my kiddo got "southern". I was worried southern was going to be too bland but the chicken itself is so flavorful you can't go wrong. As for the hot it had great flavor and the heat wasn't too spicy that it took away from the meal.
All the sides we tried were good, nothing left us unhappy. As for the lemonade it's the sweetest I've ever had.
I'd definitely go back and maybe try some of the bone in chicken options.
Me and my friend ordered the 2 full chicken bird the taste is fantastic. More oily definitively keep that in mind. Must try once if you are visiting Nashville. It’s the best rated in Nashville and I agree with that definitely.
