Review Mission Bbq - Nashville

The service here really blew me away. From the cleaning staff to the cashier to the man who was changing sauce bottle lids - everyone was phenomenally sweet and welcoming. The food here is great. My partner and I shared the 3-meat sampler with sausage, moist beef brisket, and dry beef brisket. The mac&cheese was delicious but I’d definitely try something other than the fries next time. The star of the show is all the different sauces you can get. The best one was the one you had to pour yourself from where you’d get the sauce ramekins/drink lids.

He's always walking around, cleaning and talking to everyone, explain the menu. Is a pro doing relationships. 5 star customer service.

Wanted to have real brisket from Nashville and was not disappointed. One of my daughters and I had a half pound lean brisket, my other daughter and wife had half lean & half moist. We all thoroughly enjoyed the meal. We were all full before we finished the meal but somehow we found the room to Finnish it off. We are all completely Stuffed. The atmosphere is very patriotic 🙂 and the staff are very pleasant.

Best BBQ!!! Outstanding Meats Ribs fall off the bone, Brisket Super moist, Sausage full of flavor. Best potato salad I’ve ever had. Slaw is Great. And the Atmosphere is superior all American. They support our Troops, First Responders and this Great Nation. While ordering our food right at Noon everyone stopped and stood for our National Anthem felt so Proud to see Patriotism at its finest. Highly Recommend Mission BBQ can’t wait to comeback

Visiting in Nashville and ran across a Mission BBQ. I never pass up a chance when I see one. They have great food, great environment, and a great nation! This time I went for the brisket, which was as good as anything I’ve ever had here.

Great food. Even better staff. Food was top end. Had a nice chat with Dan, the manager there. We spoke about the police badges on the wall from our province Ontario and the region we were from, Waterloo. How coincidental we sat right beside them on our first trip in. We will be back. Amazing experience! Staff was so kind , considerate, and knowledgeable. Excellent service 👌 Fryer is only for the fries so as someone with Celiac I could enjoy them! Brisket was delicious, even lean cut was so moist and wonderful. Vast array of gluten-free sauces to choose from at your table. Environment clean and inviting. Cafeteria style ordering. Even had a gluten free dessert!

Like all the best BBQ places this is not fancy but the food is excellent. Stand outs were the juicy tender mouth watery good brisket and the sausage with cheese and jalapeño (not too spicy, just right). Ribs were good but not exceptional and cornbread was a little sweet and dry but good. Place is big and it’s heartwarming to see their sincere support for military and first responders. Lots of signs and patches showing mutual respect. Staff was great and service fast, friendly, and fairly priced. Perfect ahead of Grand Old Opry show a few minutes walk away.

Just got done with dinner and it was immaculate. So a little back story I’m new to Tennessee and my friend from London has constantly been asking me about the food out here and I had yet to try it until Today. Boy did I pick a good place to start. Mission BBQ was amazing. We had Spare Ribs, Salmon, pared with Cornbread, Macaroni & Cheese, Coleslaw, and Green Beans. The Ribs were AMAZING! The Salmon was melting in my mouth 🤤🤤. Before I get into the sides we need to take a moment of silence for the Cornbread. Why? because it was awesome. The Mac & Cheese was also stellar 🌟. You know we had to get our veggies in and that’s where the coleslaw and green beans came in. They were also really good. I’m not the biggest fan of green beans but I enjoyed theirs. If you’re looking for a place with great food, you’re reading the right review. The customer service was also exceptional. We had a small concern with our order and the employees handled the situation gracefully. They were more then happy to address the situation and fix it. There aren’t many places out here that offer such good service so I’m happy that they didn’t overlook the issue. I’ve been hesitant to eat out over here just because of how bad the fast food places are, but I had yet to do a sit down and today changed my views on venturing out and trying new places. Missions BBQ has definitely set the bar really high, so wherever I try next better be ready. If you’re still contemplating on going there, let this be the end to your doubting. Warm up the car, put your loose jeans on and head over to Mission BBQ, you won’t regret it. I highly recommend this place. Let me know how your experience goes. Enjoy to the fullest!

I love Mission BBQ! The food is great but the Service is even better! Every time I go I have a wonderful experience. Last night I had the pleasure of being helped by Amy, Michelle and Esther! They were all wonderful, polite, and friendly. I was trying to figure out what I wanted for my family and they all helped and let me try samples. The most important part for me was not being rushed. Good customer service is hard to come by these days so when I receive it I have to acknowledge it. Amy the manger made sure all my containers were sealed in plastic wrap so it wouldn’t spill and the bag would not break (which has happened before) so that was a huge plus for me. She even helped me to my car so I wouldn’t have to come back for my drinks. It was a great experience! Thank you ladies!

You could smell the yummy goodness outside the mall. We were greeted by an older gentleman as we walked in. He was an absolute joy to talk with. The staff was wonderful as it was our first visit. It was pretty busy but we had no wait for the food. Love all the stickers and patches everywhere. I got a bottle coke from the ice box as we headed to the counter to order, just a heads up the bottle opener is hidden near the drink machine. The staff will help you locate it 😆

I have reviewed many bbq spots this really surprised me. I thought it would be a touristy BBQ place. I was wrong. I had the beef brisket and jalapeño and cheese sausage and cheese potatoes. It was great. I wasn't a fan of the sauces. The meat was excellent with out it.

One of my favorite places in the United States, the staff is amazing, they welcome every guest that comes thru the door and explain the different food options. If you ever visit for lunch make sure that you arrive before the noon hour for the national anthem. Ahh... Yes... The food is amazing, every time I come to Nashville I have to get my Mission BBQ fix.

Food was GREAT. Service was great. Great atmosphere. BBQ was so good I had to have a second. Fresh cooked fries cut from potatoes not frozen. At lunchtime they ask everyone to stand and join in singing the National Anthem. Really good experience overall.

Being a wedding venue owner I have experienced hundreds of caterers. Mission BBQ's catering teams have some of the best attitudes we have ever seen! So happy, helpful, easy going and their food is always perfect! I highly recommend them!
