Love the ice cream here even though I'm not an ice cream fan. My husband and kids are the ones I get it for. I worked at Brigham's in my youth and being an ice cream server, in the summer, is hot, sticky, hard work. It totally turned me off of ice cream.. So I appreciate the folks behind the windows!
The prices are higher than I'd like but that is happening everywhere. Still, I'd rather pay more for some good quality food so we will continue to go here.
They've added more food items to their menu and I'm sure that there will be a few times this summer when I don't want to cook and we will head here.
A true gem. The original location is the one to try if you can. Being there brings you back to you childhood and getting icecream cones at the end of a hot summer day. The Appalachian Trail was delicious and as the base of a hot fudge sundae it is just superb.
Good quality ice cream and friendly staff. Cannot get that from a chain store. The seasonal/limited flavors are superb. The ice cream itself is not too thick but not too watery to where you have to wait for it to melt a bit or hurry to eat before it melts., makes a perfect treat.
We love the ice cream and the service here. Always a pleasurable experience. Sometimes it looks busy but the staff are very efficient with service. Ice cream is always the best. I had banana fudge ice cream with strawberry and chocolate sauce. Tasted like a banana split. We also got 2 chocolate shakes.
Still fantastic ice cream. The playground is cool too. Would love to see more dairy free options on the menu though. It's a roll of the dice whether they'll have a sorbet or not which is tough for the one kid that can't have dairy in the group.
Been going here since I was a little kid. Always great high quality ice cream with unique flavors. Bubblegum is exceptional good. It was around $19 for 2 regular ice creams and a raspberry-lime Ricky but it's worth it.
NH and Massachusetts both have great local creameries. This one was right off the exit and busy even for a cold day. They also serve other types of fast food. My husband enjoyed the coffee ice cream and one of the chocolate scoops. I enjoyed my butter pecan. Great place to visit!
Absolutely creamy and delicious, we have been going here for almost 2 years and at this point we have tried almost-almost every flavor and our all time fav is butter pecan, we usually get quarts back home. A must try if you are an ice cream lover.
