Came by to use our ri food fights taco tickets. My gf and I had chips, salsa, guac, and two tacos. The guacamole was good but pretty small and needed more avocado. Chips and salsa were very good. Salsa came in small cups but were amazing. The red salsa had a hot kick to it. I had the shrimp and beef tacos. Shrimp taco was cooked perfectly, beef was a little dry. Julio was our server and was nice and attentive. Chatted with him a little bit when we cashed out and he was very friendly and talked with us about the menu. Definitely will come back to try more tacos another time.

Loved the food here. Happened to go when they had live music, which was delightful. Not too loud for dining. Friendly staff, great service. Did I mention yummy food? Can't wait to go back!

Shrimp tacos were fantastic. Marinade was flavorful and the slaw was crisp. I think they are still figuring out the growing pains associated with their new location.. service wasn't awful but also not 5 star. We'll definitely be back, maybe in September after the tourists go home 😊

Love this little local spot. Every time I go it's like a party in my mouth! Definitely try the Beef Caldo Soup, just like mom's! Service is great, prices are reasonable and the ambiance--definitely a go to spot any night of the week! Kudos to the owners!

This family owed and operated place is a gem. Authentic homemade food and comfortable friendly atmosphere. We're lucky to live so close to the Peacedale location. We can't wait to visit the original restaurant on Block Island.

Great food! Had the pleasure of meeting the owner today and we really clicked! Definitely hooked me on on the food and sent me home with a complimentary bottle of hot sauce! Super nice guy! Highly recommended!

Best authentic Mexican in southern Rhode Island. Prices may seem high but they're not for the portion size. Will definitely be back again and again. Byob a plus, especially since they're a very short walk from Whalers Brewing. 🌶️🍻

Some of the prices were higher than I was first anticipating, but once I got my food, the quality and portion sizes made it well worth it. I had the Chili Rellanos. Everything was fresh, delicious, and prompt. My leftovers made a great lunch for the next day. I can't wait to visit again.

I've been to calaveras twice and I can't wait to go again. The menu is filled with flavorful classics like street corn, tostadas tingas, and flautas. The burritos are stuffed full so the prices match the portions really well. I've had the chicken tingas twice and even though it was a bit cold the second time I would still have it a third. Laso tried the street corn which is amazing! The staff is friendly and the kitchen is fast! Thanks for stocking aguas frescas and Jarritos!!!

Wonderful service! Delicious food. We had a fun time here. I brought the family for my wife's birthday dinner. She LOVES Mexican food. Great to have such a fun place close to home.
