Showed up for Sunday BBQ buffet right after they opened and the spot was pretty empty so we got the best seats. The slides were all excellent but the meat was little dry and the sauce was sweet

This is a great restaurant, located in a scenic spot offering beautiful views of the south end of Canandaigua Lake. Visited on a Saturday afternoon, we were warmly greeted and our wait time to be seated on the patio was minimal. Our server was friendly and efficient, which is not always the case in many places these days. We started with an appetizer that was offered as one of the day's specials: Coconut Shrimp. It was perfectly prepared and very delicious. We opted for something light for dinner: Marinated Chicken Sandwiches. Our sandwiches were also delicious, served on a tasty Brioche roll with Provolone and a Basil Pesto Mayo...so good. This place has all the bases covered, perfect for any age. Will definitely stop by again. Highly recommend.

Do yourself a favor and go, grab your family or friends, this spot is charming, unassuming gorgeous spot on the water with sloppy comfort food, generous portions and family friendly prices. A hidden jam, can’t wait to return for a great plate of NY garbage (just ask!)

Really good food! Ordered off the spring menu and shared garlic parmesan wings, and I got the chef salad with beef brisket while my boyfriend got the pulled pork sandwich special. The garlic Parm wings were amazing! We ordered a half dozen but thought we should've gone with a full dozen with how good they were. My salad was delicious and the brisket wis extremely tender.

We are glad we experienced this place for ourselves! The view on the deck was outstanding, the service was spectacular and the food was fantastic! It was Friday, so several in our party ordered the fish fry. The beer batter was not overpowering and the portions were plentiful! We will be back!

The reviews had me worried, but we were pleasantly surprised with the service and the food. We went for the Sunday buffet and ordered the turkey (very nice cuts of white meat) along with the buffet which was awesome (typically I don’t like buffets). Service was friendly and attentive. The view of the lake from the deck was beautiful. Only one complaint: not a very good BloodyMary made by one of the young ladies. Otherwise, don’t let the bad reviews scare you away…. try it out!

We drove over an hour to get there. We did have to wait a bit as they had only 1 waitress. They have advertised fpr help to no avail.Potential workers say they cant turn down Bidens $ 300.00 dollars extra on top of regular unemployment every week. No wonder some cafes have closed for good. The food here is great. Four of us ordered different meals and we all loved our meal. We ate outside on a large patio over looking Lake Cayuga. What a day....

My husband and I were day tripping and happened on the Sawmill. What a nice little stop for lunch or dinner.
Good food and a great view of the lake.
We will definitely be back.
Closes early on Sunday at 6pm.

We had dinner there the last night of 2019. It was our first time there and didn't know they were closing for the season. So our first thoughts were oh the food won't be as good since its the last day. You would have never known it was the last day between the food and the service. What a pleasant gem to find! We definitely will go back.

First time visitor and I think I found my new favorite summer restaurant! Food was great, view from the deck was gorgeous and our waitress Tammy was super awesome, fast, fun and sweet! We'll be back!!

The deck where u eat is just breath taking lunch was great. Inside was also super cute. Will go back but they don't open till like 430 during the week
