Cafe blu was our first time ever going and we will be back. The service was great and above excellent. All the front staff help each other and have a smile and are so nice. The cup of soup was a huge portion and was delicious. We ordered to many appetizers and never go to the entrees but we plan to go back because that's how great the food and service was! Thanks for a great day off with my husband!

We went today for breakfast. The food is fantastic and the service was great! Big change since new owner took over. The dinner menu looks amazing! We will be going back soon. Plus, they redecorated and it is attractive and very clean.

Great spot and excellent food! This place is under new ownership and has morphed from a breakfast place to fine dining. The food is outstanding with very good pricing. The owner & staff are friendly and very warm. The decor has changed to a very warm and cozy place. Highly recommend giving this place a try-you won’t be disappointed.

The food at Cafe Blu is excellent. The escargot, the duck, the salmon, the soups, the salads -- each of them exquisite. Though I didn't meet him, I hear this has everything to do with the amazing chef in the back who clearly has, in the words of our server, "mad skills." Cafe Blu, is less a cafe, than a 5-star bistro. The interior is rustic and warm -- as a true bistro should be - but the food is stellar. The service matched the food - friendly, knowledgeable and committed -- "I work here because I believe in the chef", the server told us. That said there were a few quibbles. There was no wine list which was unfortunate. Also, the music didn't suit the venue or the food. Seventies pop and rock and roll should give way to candle light and Bill Evans, in my view. Still, the overall experience was terrific and I hope more people come to know about it. #VanderbiltCountryClub

My friend Aimee keeps telling me about this place called Café Blu. Finally, after a round of golf, she invited me for a drink. This place is small, but the staff, and the locals, are SO nice. Nearly the entire staff came over and introduced themselves and when we left, we got hugs from one of the bartenders. I tried a couple of appetizers, and was impressed with the food. The prices are unbeatable, too. This location is under new ownership, and it seems like they have it figured out. I wish my hometown had a neighborhood bar like this. Wow, what a treat. Can't wait to get back here!

Went there for breakfast Easter morning. Since new owners quality of food was terrible. Corn beef hash was not even eatable. Had a funny smell. Eggs were ok but hash brown casserole was not very good and lukewarm at best. Use to love this place but won’t be back again.

It took me ages to finally make it out to this place. I kick myself for taking so long! I sat at the bar and ordered the Crab Cake Benedict, which came with perfectly poached eggs and delicious crab crab cakes. I ordered the hash browns, which were perfectly browned. I have to say, the service was top notch.

Where can I start? The food here is amazing, starting with the Octopus, so good that I even forgot to take a picture. The seabass is out of this world, and my wife had a classic surf and turf which was outstanding. We ended with the flour chocolate cake and let me tell you is one of the best I've had. Great atmosphere and the service is excellent. I highly recommend this little hidden gem.
