Didn’t read any reviews before coming here. I wasn’t expecting much but I was was surprised in the quality of the food and service. This is a hidden expensive gem. Round 2. Forget the appetizers. The calamari was rubbery this time. The flatbread was okay. The main course was excellent. And as we had before, the roasted veggies are awesome.

We were a party of 6 for a birthday/family celebration on March 22, 2020. This was our first experience with 1500 South and it will not be our last. We had perfect service from everyone. Our waiter, "Lou" was especially helpful and professional. Each item ordered from the menu was perfect. We especially enjoyed sitting outside and felt as though it was our own private space. We could all hear one another, which is rare in many area restaurants. We did not have to hurry and staff made sure that we had everything we needed for our dinner together. We even got to hear the live (VERY GOOD) music, which was a plus. What a relaxing and fun way to have a wonderful dinner!
