What a great experience we had at this restaurant! You know it's a good sign when you sit down and within 30 seconds you have bread on your table and your waiter (Jose) is asking you if you'd like a drink! The food is excellent, the beers are excellent and I can't say enough about the dessert and coffee that we had. Overall, just a great experience and we will definitely be back. I highly recommend a visit to Black Forest!

Delicious German Food 😎😎😎 ... I recently visited Black Forest German Restaurant and was blown away by the authenticity of their dishes. In particular, I was delighted to try their Sauerbraten Beef, which was absolutely outstanding. The meat was perfectly tender and flavorful, and the accompanying gravy was rich and savory. I could tell that the beef had been marinated for a long time, as it had a complex depth of flavor that was truly remarkable. Overall, the Sauerbraten Beef was one of the best German dishes I have ever had, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and delicious meal. The Veal Schnitzel at Black Forest German Restaurant was also excellent. The breading was perfectly crisp, and the veal was cooked to perfection. The portion size was generous, and the dish was served with a side of warm potato salad and tangy lingonberry sauce. The combination of flavors and textures in the Veal Schnitzel was exceptional, and I would definitely order it again on my next visit to the restaurant. Finally, I must mention the White Bean Soup at Black Forest German Restaurant. This soup was hearty, comforting, and incredibly flavorful. Delightful food, atmosphere, outside seating is refreshing and staff is great. LOVED the change of pace from other restaurants (steak, chicken, burgers, fish places)- Food quite good- all dishes we have tried: jargerschnitzel , chicken picant, a roast pork special and DELICIOUS red cabbage with apples was superb- sweet and delicious. Desserts quite good also. Oh and the split pea soup - WOW! Loved it! The outside seating is wonderful with a low wall of bubbling waterfalls/ water bubblers built in, open and airy and gets late afternoon shade. Will return here!!

2nd visit...the Paté is my favorite start, my mom's is the potato pancakes with the dill sour cream sauce. She had the Schnitzel Weiner Style, sauerkraut, and the potatoes with mushroom sauce on the side tonight....Amazing! 💯💯💯

Having grown up with heavy German influence, I am picky about my German food. This restaurant absolutely blew me away. You walk inside and it smells like fresh German homemade cooking. Was very happy with my meal and the service- our server was very friendly and attentive. This was my first meal in Naples FL and I was very satisfied! Love this little gem!!

Felt like Home, only in the warmth of Naples. Such a great experience, having great German food again in a wonderful area. We sat outside, enjoyed the food with friends, service was excellent, have already reciting others.

First time getting LUNCH- still amazing. Beautiful Christmas decorations, friendly staff, best freaking schnitzel & red cabbage. Apple strudel is awesome. You need to come see for yourself before they get slammed during season. i love Black Forest! <3

Very small place with an older style interior. Many tables out front on a beautiful patio. Food was incredible. Wife had the veal wiener schnitzel, I had the veal Ruben schnitzel. The red cabbage is a very tasty portion of the dish. We also sampled the apple strudel which was excellent and the German chocolate cake which was beyond belief. Highly recommend giving this place a try. Update 10-30-22 Still amazing. Owner and staff very engaged. Food is delicious. Probably our favorite Florida dining.

Great food, they also do gluten free. Once my mother left her credit card here and they protected it until we could pick it up again! Very honest workers it’s a pleasure going there

This is genuine German food! I enjoyed everything I had--the sauerbraten, potato and leek soup, and the apple strudel is the best you will find. This place ranks as one of the best German restaurants in my book.

My fiancé and I went to this cozy and friendly establishment for Valentine's Day. Both she and I have roots in Germany and loved the authentic feel, down to the decor, music, and atmosphere. The food is as authentic as it comes, arrived quickly (even on Valentine's Day with a full house). Our waitress Sarah was attentive and awesome and both of us left with huge smiles and full bellies. Haven't been to a place in town this good in a long time. Loved it and will be back!!

I've been here two years in a row when I vacation in Naples. Great food and great service. The owner is very friendly and offered us free dessert. Five stars all the way.

Cozy, friendly, reasonably priced little place with outstanding service and food! There were 3 in our dinner party and we all had the Weiner Schnitzel which was delicious and could only have been made better with capers. We'll be back!

I had a house salad with curry dressing. My entree was chicken breast with baked apples and brie cheese with brown gravy, over house potatoes. My meal and service were Outstanding! I will be back.

I traveled to Germany on many occations, Duesseldorf and Kolon...loved Germany...the sites the people and the FOOD!!! We have a condo around the corner and where determined to give BlackForest a try. Unfortunately we were too lazy to go there so we had take out. I hadn't had duck since my last trip so I ordered it...fantastic!!! Came w spatsels, red cabbage and some type of cherry sauce...unbelievable!!!! The wife had the potato pancake w salmon ...smelled and looked spot on...unfortunately she wouldn't share....can't blame her!!1 Personnel where nice...Folks this is the REAL DEAL when it comes to exceptional German Cuisine!!!!

The food was amazing. I had the potato pancake as an appetizer. They were delicious as well as huge. Next time my boyfriend and I will share the appetizer. I ordered the Sauerbraten and it was delicious. I can't wait to go back to try other entrees.
