Calvary Cafe

Calvary is a breath of fresh air in a stale world. They believe in the Holy Bible and teaching it. The pastor has a heart for God's people and ministering to them, wherever they are. Every person in ministry that I've met there has a similar heart and commitment. You can feel the Holy Spirit there! Truth is in short supply these days, especially God's truth and it is refreshing to find it there.

I've been on the hunt for a home church for a long while. The criteria to find a church was to make sure the belief was fully Bible supported that was a priority. I have been involved with several churches and I wanted the biblical truth and not be part of the legalism of religion. I didn't want to be a Pharisee but be a true follower of Jesus Christ. My first visit was Sunday before Xmas eve, came back for Xmas eve and then back for 12/26/21 and it was like Pastor Marty was talking directly to me and the way he explained the book of James I wanted to hear more. My family loves this church! Pastor Marty does a wonderful job always bringing you back to the Bible. He’s practical and has a genuine love for God that comes out in his teaching. This church cares about local and global impact. It’s a diverse church with flags hanging in the sanctuary from countries representing the birth countries of people that gather there. Thankful to be a part of a church that cares about obeying God and loving others well both here internationally. Children’s ministry is excellent as well! We have a toddler and 4 yr old that love going!
