Firehouse Subs

Awesome sub sandwiches. This is a jumping lunch spot so expect a 5 minute wait. The subs are expensive but worth every penny. Great hot sauce selection. The have their own house cherry limeade with fresh cut limes. Order anything, hot subs. Hot sauce. And the sub club gets you a free one every now and then.

The first time I came here I looked at the prices and thought, “they must be crazy! They are so expensive!!!” And then I had their food. Worth every sent!!! I love eating here and whenever we are undecided I recommend this place. They are a fancy potbelly’s but that doesn’t describe them very well at all because they are that much better than potbelly’s. I was not a fan of a hot sub, I would put up with it but considering they toast their bread, heat their meats and make sure the cheese melts every time The whole sandwich is the same temp. I dislike “hot subs” because often only half as hot and I am a fan of adding veggies, which are typically cold and then make that hot sandwich a soggy room temp with pockets of cold. Firehouse makes the whole sandwich hot and even though the lettuce onions and tomatoes are fresh and not heated they are not an ice cold temp that makes the whole sandwich luke warm like what happens when I eat at potbelly’s. The only thing I wish they didn’t change was their sauce collection. When they first opened this location they had a whole shelf dedicated to super hot and a shelf dedicated to medium/mild sauces. Now they mostly have medium/mild and it’s hard to get a good super spicy sauce mix to add that extra kick to my sub.

The older Caucasian lady that claims to be the owner is terrible. I don't believe she is the owner but she have horrible customer service. I called to let her know my sandwich wasn't made correctly she response and tell me to bring my sandwich back and they will make me a new one. Never been to a restaurant that wants you to bring food back once left the store. She also blamed me for her making my sandwich wrong. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN IN LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
